Description
🌿 Workaway Introduction – Family Babysitting & Cultural Exchange
Hello there 😊
My name is Monica.
I live in Danyang, a small and beautiful town in Chungbuk Province, South Korea. It takes about two hours from Seoul by train or express bus.
Danyang is surrounded by nature. Guinsa Temple is one of the largest temples in Korea, and Sobaek National Park is famous for trekking. There are many peaceful and scenic places to explore, and it is very safe to travel around. (Korea in general is very safe.)
You can enjoy peaceful views of Sobaeksan and the Han River from my place yet everything you need — a convenience store, restaurants, and the intercity bus terminal — is just a 3-minute walk away.
🧡 About Our Family
I am a mother of two children (8 and 4 years old). This is not a business — just our family home.
The main purpose of this exchange is English and cultural exchange. I hope my children can naturally experience English through play and daily life.
My children are quite shy at first, especially with new people. They may need some time to feel comfortable. But once they open up, they are sweet, playful, and full of curiosity.
🌿 About the Stay
You will have a small private room with your own bathroom. Although it is not large, it is comfortable and fully private.
You are welcome to use the kitchen
Please note that this exchange includes accommodation only.
Meals are not provided.
There are supermarkets and local markets nearby, so it is easy to buy groceries.
