Description
We are a very curious and easy going couple, always seeking new experiences and ways to develop, grow and widen our life experience in different ways . Sofie is a practicing homeopath and Rikard is consulting in the building sector. We have both travelled a lot throughout life and Sofie visited Ghana, Spain and Costa Rica as a Workawayer before we both met soon five years ago. Together we Workawayed our way through Mexico this last winter. We have hosted a bunch of Workawayers here at the farm in the last years. We have loved the whole experience of meeting new people and working together.
We live in the country side on an old farm in the heart of Österlen in the south of Sweden where we grow a lot of ecological vegetables during the spring and summer in order to be as self sufficient as we can. The help we need is depending on what project or part of the farm we are working on currently. There is always stuff to do and we always come up with new ideas on how to develop this place.
We can not offer a paid position for Workawayers.

In exchange for your precious help we will offer you a comfortable stay in our spacious house with full board in one of the most stunning places in Sweden. There is plenty of space both indoors and outdoors for you to do your own thing in your spare time and to enjoy nature and the peacefulness of this place. You will get a chance to get to know this country from the inside and we are looking forward to exchanging stories, skills, work-, life- and world experiences with you that can benefit us all. We have bikes that you can use to get around.
Help
We are currently looking for a couple or two friends that can share a room to come help us with our private projects. We need handy and creative people that can help out with small repairs, clearing bits of land, making new growing beds, cutting down shrubs, cutting hedges, gardening, growing vegetables and general maintenance ... and whatever else that comes up. We cannot offer any business/paid work. :)
We will work together and show you what and how to do the things that needs doing, but if you are skilled and experienced in any of the fields above it's an advantage and we really appreciate learning new skills from you. You also need to have a driving licence since we live in the countryside and we might need you to run errands or just for exploring and getting around in your time off. Minimum stay is one week. Maximum stay is one month to start with but we are open to extending the stay if things work out well all around. It would be great to share some time with openminded people from around the world! :)Languages

From Copenhagen Airport there is a train service running via Malmö to Simrishamn. Some local buses are available with connections to Kristianstad, Lund and other towns.

We have farmland all around, we are 15 min from the Baltic Sea with beautiful beaches and stunning nature wherever you go. There are small picturesque villages close by and many interesting historical sites to visit. You can also visit national parks, nature reserves, farm shops, gardens, restaurants and cafés that are skattered in this charming landscape.
