Description
We are a community of 6x adults, four teenagers, 3 dogs, some cats and a bunch of friends coming and going.
The garden is now well established and gives us amazing food most of the year, even the orchid might give some fruit this summer. Hosting volunteers is a joy and we always learn something from your offerings, and we hope you appreciate ours.
The main tasks this summer:
- garden and trail upkeep
- infrastructure tasks, farm workshop, structures, etc.. we will teach you everything, but some DIY experience would be amazing!
- painting the RV to look like a forest! come share your creativity, add some forest fairies.
- visitors traveling as a couple or friends are preferred but not critical.
- accommodation would be an RV, or camping if you prefer.
- some shared meals, but you will have your own kitchen
Things we like to do on the land.. disc golf, hiking, volleyball (the teenagers are getting good!), badminton, Sauna/cold plunge, Yoga, zip line, weights, also making art and expanding or gnome village ...
You will help make quite the transformation in a short time, that generations will enjoy into the future.
We look forward to meeting you, learning and enjoying some time together, to create a beautiful spaces and friendships.
At the end of July we will be attending a burning man festival in Merrit. You are most welcome to join.
Best,
Ben

He made us an Apple crumble, won his first game of Bandu, joined us for hikes, loved the dogs, kept things clean, and we got through a lot of tasks together. Best of luck on your travels mate!
