  Description

  We are an unschooling family seeking help with refurbishment of our flat and and mainly with the kids - spending time with them. There are 7 of us, Martin (47), Zdenka (40), four boys (13, 10, 7 and 4) and a baby girl living in a nice neighbourhood in Prague. Martin is a sociologist and Zdenka works as a translator and interpreter of English and French. We have chosen a lifestyle of unschooling, which means that our children do not go to school, follow their passions and learn incessantly through living.
  
  We inherited an old apartment where we live in at the moment, but it still needs quite a bit of refurbishing. We would like to welcome workawayers who could help with various refurbishing works in the house and mainly with the kids - share their passions and interests with them, play with them, talk to them. If you are into gaming, anime, superheroes or fighting, you will be their hero:).
  
  A few years ago, we travelled as workawayers to France and Italy as a family and as it was a great experience, that is why we decided to host other workawayers in times when we do not travel ourselves. We think that meeting new and interesting people is so beneficial to our children, everyone has so much to offer. We want the opportunity for our children (as well as for us, the parents) to meet various adults with various passions, interests, and backgrounds.
  
  We can welcome workawayers for 1 to 3 weeks as the space is really limited. If everything works great, we are open to longer stays, but honestly, most people are not used to so much joy, fun and noise over longer periods of time, which we absolutely understand:).

  Help

  We are looking for joyful, passionate and positive people who would enrich our lives.
  More down-to-earth, we need help with the refurbishment works, as well as someone to spend time with the children, introducing them to their hobbies, passions, culture, simply making their lives rich and joyful. Or mostly just goofing around with them, gaming, watching their theatre, dancing or superhero performances, laughing and playing with them. General help at home or cooking would also be appreciated.
  At the moment, the bathroom is already usable, but not finished. We have two habitable rooms, the rest is functional, but partly old and ugly, though sanitary (toilet). Water, electricity, heating with no problem.
  We can welcome up to two workawayers at a time, but preferably one as the apartment is really small and there are lots of us. Still, it will be a bit noisy and crowded, do not come if you love silence and a lot of personal space most of the day.

  Accommodation

  Very modest, a mattress in a separate room, bedding provided.
  Food is included, we do not eat any special diet, we eat meat occasionally, we are able to provide food for vegetarians, as well as vegans. We try to provide healthy food to our children, but let them try other things as well.

  What else ...

  We live not far from the Prague Castle and the city centre is about a 15-minute ride on public transport. It is up to your interests - beautiful historical monuments, large expat community, pubs and Czech beer, sports facilities, there is so much to do in Prague.
