    Description

Hej, we are a Farm! In 2017 Johan bought a farm with surrounding lands and forrest, located close to a lake. It was his vision to build up a village where people work together in an organic and sustainable way. The community has been growing for the past five years and we are now focusing on becoming financially self-sustainable through opening a café and egg business.

Now we are 10 people involved in the daily work and living on the farm or nearby and even the first children are born. We always have short term volunteers with us and we love to introduce others to our lifestyle and our way of farming. We hope that what you learn here inspires you to build your own projects.

We grow our own vegetables, have a permaculture garden, we have 120 chickens and 4 ducks (for now), and a few building projects. This year we have started to grow grain. Many projects are going on at the same on our big farm.

We are engaged in a healthy, conscious lifestyle and have a great network of communities in Värmland. In our free time we enjoy nature, sauna, dancing and visit or are visited by friends and other eco-projects. We cook for each other in turns and we always eat dinner together.

    Current projects:
In summer 2022, we need volunteers especially to help us maintain the greenhouses and keep the gardens in good shape.
In the autumn we have a few building projects planned: finishing a tree house, a pre-seeding room, a bigger chicken coop, a water collection system, a pond. For those with the right skills, there is opportunity to join the building team.

Let us know if you are interested to join our project!
We are looking forward to hearing from you!

    Help

We are building a café currently, growing vegetables in our big garden and taking care of the farm. We also have chickens and ducks.
We especially look for people interested in farming, gardening, building, plumbers, and generally people who are happy to help.

The volunteers will not be asked to work for customers. We don´t need volunteers to help in the café, but in the garden and with farming in general.
