Description
Hej, we are a farm located in Värmland Sweden!
We ask a 1 month minimum stay from our volunteers, so we can get you properly integrated into the farm, our routines and work.
!Right now we are in need of Workawayers, we have added ourselves to the last minute hosts. So if you are searching for a place very soon, don't hesitate to write us a message! We would need help in gardening and tractor farming.
In 2017 Johan bought a farm with surrounding lands and forest, located close to a lake. It was his vision to build up a village where people work together in an organic and sustainable way. The community has been growing for the past five years and we are now focusing on becoming self sustainable.
Now we are 3 people living on the farm and about 5 more people involved in the farm and living nearby and even the first children are born. We always have short term Workawayers with us and we love to introduce others to our lifestyle and our way of farming. We hope that what you learn here inspires you to build your own projects.
If you are interested in really experiencing more aspects of living on a farm, then we would love to have a chat! If you have any particular skills with building, or gardening we would love to know, as it is something we are in need of right now.
We grow our own vegetables, have a permaculture garden, and a few building projects. This year we have started to grow grain. Many projects are going on at the same time on our big farm.
We are engaged in a healthy, conscious lifestyle and have a great network of communities in Värmland. In our free time we enjoy nature, sauna, dancing and visit or are visited by friends and other eco-projects. We cook for each other in turns and we always eat dinner together. We do not have any internet access available.
Current projects:
Current projects: Summer and autumn 2024!
In the garden: weeding beds, cleaning pathways, writing signs and making a big information sign.
Building: Connecting our solar system, saving the tree house, finishing the dome.
Big farming: Cutting grass, Mulching fields, harvesting potatoes and grains (a bit later in the year)
Maintenance: Maintaining tractor and fixing up all different machines for it. Maintaining cars and fixing with garden tools.
Helping us with wood cutting for winter. And general building projects.
Let us know if you are interested to join our project!

We have Swedish, Finnish, German, English, and Dutch speakers here.Accommodation
We have 2 single rooms and a larger room for 2 people, two caravans, a bus with 6 beds and endless camping possibility.
For winter time, we mostly just provide the 3 rooms that can be comfortably heated, if you would still be interested in staying at one of our caravans, let us know. The only place available for people with pets is our garden caravan though, seeing as some people on the farm are allergic, so pets cannot stay in the main house. What else ...
Since we are a community there is always the possibility to spend your free time socially with us, we have a great sauna next to the lake, go on trips to other projects and communities nearby, the nature is amazing here and we regularly have gatherings.
