  Hi,
  
  We are two friends who bought a house in 2016, which needed a lot of work.
  The house is set in a beautiful region on the North Shore of Québec, a place of rocks, moss and spruce, on the coast of the St-Laurent river. Our region is a popular destination in the summer for whalewatching.
  
  Jane is a talented woman, always in for a project aligned with her many many interest. You hear her before you see her, probably talking over gardening about the next project. She made two mini her, who followed her steps at having so many projects of their own.
  Fiona (me), won't be selling myself as much, I am kind, I love doing a lot of different things, mostly with Jane. Meaning, I don't like doing just one thing all the time. I also have a dog, Freya who loves to chill, to hunt and to exagerate.

  Nous sommes deux amies qui avons acheté une maison en 2016 qui avait besoin d'amour.
  La maison est en région rurale sur la Côte-Nord, un endroit de cap rocheux et d'épinette, bordant le fleuve. Notre région est très touristique l'été, pour y voir les baleines surtout.
  Jane est une femme de tous les talents, de tous les intérêts et surtout d'un positivisme à toute épreuve. On l'entend avant qu'on la voit, parler à travers champs de son prochain projet. Elle a créé deux minis elle qui ont, malgré nous, beaucoup de projet aussi!
  Fiona (moi), je vais pas me vendre plus que ça, je suis bin gentille et j'aime ça faire plein de projet avec Jane ! (J'ai un chien, Freya qui aime ça chiller, chasser et dramatiser les situations).

  We are carpenters and we can share our knowledge. We hope our projects can inspire and empower you.

  We are skillful knitters, we can teach you to make your first sweater!

  On peut offrir un endroit purement pour la nature, te diriger vers des endroits magnifiques et parler des plantes comestibles de la région (BLEUETS!)
  On a des talents de menuisière charpentière, les projets pourront être une source d'apprentissage et d'expérience valorisante pour toi.
  On espère avoir des gens motivés pour nous aider à prendre soin de notre terrain, le rendre encore plus beau pour accueillir des activités dans la région.
  On est aussi des tricoteuses, on peut t'enseigner à faire un chandail de laine!

  Help

  We need help around the land, gardening, taking care of the hens, distract the kids, build a barn, maintain trails in the woods, and more, depending on your skills.
  We do have a family hostel, but it is not going to be on the list of help.
  We ask for moslty manuel tasks, we offer flexibles hours so you can enjoy our region. It is often going to be team work. We like people that are independant, comfortable alone as well as in groups.

  Nous avons besoin d'aide pour aménager le terrain, prendre soin des poules, divertir les enfants, construire une grange, entretenir des sentiers, s'occuper du jardin selon la saison, et plus encore, selon vos capacités!
  On a une auberge familiale, mais le bénévolat ne fera rien en ce sens.
  C'est du travail très manuel et les heures sont flexibles pour que tu puisses profiter de la région. Ce sera souvent du travail d'équipe.
  On aime les gens autonome qui sont aussi bien capable d'être seul qu'être avec des gens.

  Accommodation

  We have a school bus for you, or you can camp on our land. The shared spaces are in the main house with the kitchen, the living room and the bathrooms.
  We pay for food though we will make it all together or one after the other. (Cooking is hard for me, I don't have enough time!!)
  Waffles for breakfast every morning.

  Nous avons un autobus aménagé sur le terrain pour dormir ou en camping. Ensuite, les espaces partagés sont dans la maison principale, salon, cuisine et salle de bain.
  La nourriture est comprise, mais pas cuisinée ! On partage donc cette tâche tous ensemble.
  Il y a un déjeuner de gaufre à tous les matins.

  We have pets. It's easier to get a driver's license in our region, but hitchhiking is also possible.

  C'est plus facile avoir un permis de conduire, mais faisable en stop.

  Seulement sur le gazon à quelque part. Les espaces partagés restent les mêmes, toilette et cuisine partagée dans la maison principale. On the grass somewhere, with the same kitchen, living room and bathrooms in the main house.

  Can possibly accept pets

  Nous avons des chiens et des poules. Si votre chien mangent les poules, c'est pas super. La mienne est plus difficile avec les autres chiens, il faut s'en parler avant. We have dogs and hens. If your dogs eats chicken, it might not work. My dog is a bit difficutl with other dogs, we have to talk about it first.
