Hello! My name is Sarah, I'm 27 years old. I currently teach Elementary School in the United States and am finishing up my 4th year of teaching. I am passionate about working with and helping kids who don't get the same opportunities as others because of their financial situation. This summer I am looking for an opportunity to travel far outside my home country to explore and experience other cultures and, of course, teach!

I know a huge part of teaching abroad is teaching English to students. In my classrooms in the U.S. I have had many students that do not speak English because they were new immigrants. I am familiar with developmentally appropriate ways to teach English to children as they acquire a new language.

I have been teaching at low income schools in the USA for 4 years as a fully licensed teacher. I can lesson plan, manage a classroom, and analyze performance data. I am very hardworking, curious, and flexible so I am always willing to adapt to new schools, cultures, and ways of doing things. I am here to be a help in whatever way I can!
