Description
Hi,
I am Marta, a solo mum to Olivia (4) who is a very independent little girl.
I work remotely 4hrs a day, and I am looking for someone to be with Olivia while I work, which would usually be 3 mornings a week, as the other two mornings she will attend forest school. She loves exploring and playing barefoot in the forest or on the beach. She also loves playing dens, houses, faires and dragons. Her imagination is wild at the moment and she is always seeking someone to play with and be absorbed by her imaginary play.
I have brought her up with a mix of child-led, Montessori and Waldorf education. Always respecting the child as an individual, and their rhythm with minimal interruption when playing.
We live in Palma de Mallorca but also travel with our motorhome and have lived in different community settings. Our house is a ground floor apartment with 3 bedrooms and a large outdoor space. This is located 5mins walk to Plaza España, the main square in Palma, where the train station and bus station are located. Therefore, it is an ideal place to be, if you want to explore the island.
Your duties would be to look after Olivia while I am working and do some cooking and organising the days she is at forest school (twice a week). It would be great if you had a driving licence, so you could help with taking Olivia to forest school once a week, as it is a 30mins drive.
In exchange, I can offer a private room in our house and the experience of travelling in a motorhome with us. You will have your own space also in our tiny house on wheels as it is quite spacious.
We are a family that likes to live a simple, natural, slow life and be in nature as much as possible.

You would be someone who enjoys being around children and is aware of respecting them and their timings.
The help needed would be 4hrs during the mornings, or some days could be afternoons. Olivia goes to forest school twice a week, so on those days, you would have the day off and then do those hours as babysitting hours twice a week.
