My home sits atop a mountain ridge in the Whitsundays with 270 degree views of the ocean with the beach at the end of my driveaway. The surrounding bush is home to many animals including kangaroos, wallabies, geckos, and more. Travellers will learn about living off solar and rainwater in the bush, whilst also enjoying air-conditioning, modern living, and big-screen TV.

I am fluent in Spanish and my French is basic. I have a TEFL masters degree in teaching English as a second language. I work with Whitsunday Fauna Rescue and can share my knowledge and love for Australian native fauna.

  • Accommodation

    Accommodation

House share in a multi-level, multi-coloured home. Guests will enjoy a private bedroom and balcony overlooking the sunset on the water. Share kitchen, however, I'm not a big eater of three meals a day and prefer that guests are mostly responsible for their own cooking.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

The Whitsundays is a pristine and beautiful part of Queensland, known for its sailing and 74 islands. It is ideal for nature lovers and local activities include swimming , fishing, boating, and trekking.

Please note that my home is about 40 minutes drive to the closest towns of Cannonvale, Airlie Beach, and Proserpine. Travellers will need their own transportation. Nearby there are two local bars/restaurants that welcome day guests to use their facilities including a pool, Cape Gloucester Resort and Montes Bar and Grill, and 15 minutes drive away is the Dingo Beach Hotel.

I am easy going but do believe in a clean house. I enjoy sharing meals and drinks together but am also respectful of people's privacy and am happy having our solo time too.
