Description
Hello Lovely Travelers! 🌿
*We’re looking for Garden Volunteers to support our Head Grower.
In exchange for 5 hours of gardening per day, 5 days a week, you’ll be welcomed into our farmhouse and daily life. We share home-cooked lunches together, and provide simple food staples for breakfast and dinner.
We ask for at least one month so you can build meaningful connections, gain confidence in the garden, and experience the natural rhythm of the land and our community. We’re always happy to welcome those who wish to stay longer.*
Our organic farm is surrounded by forests, mountain views, and peaceful hillside villages. It’s a calm, inspiring place to connect with nature and be part of a small, heart-centered community.
The 24 hectare organic farm is designed on permaculture principles to provide a sustainable environment for community living. We have a small team of people (and two dogs) who live here.
We are passionate about growing food! The farm provides a wide range of vegetables and fruit, all grown with care and love. Our growing spaces include a greenhouse, two polytunnels, orchard and two organic fields, offering volunteers hands-on experience in diverse aspects of organic and permaculture-based farming.
We have had many volunteers come to stay. We recognise the importance of providing guidance on all aspects of organic growing, utilising no-dig principles and great attention to soil management.
We are currently looking for a Garden Volunteer to support our Head Grower.
Volunteer responsibilities would partly depend upon the season, including potting, sowing, watering and harvesting and succession planting, with guidance provided.
Minimum 1 month stay, however long-term is preferred!
In exchange for working 5 hours/day, 5 days/week, you’ll receive accommodation in the farmhouse, shared lunches, and basic food staples for breakfast and dinner. Community is important to us, and we often connect through morning meditations, forest hikes, movie nights and fire gatherings.
Please note: this is a vegetarian, alcohol-free, and drug-free space. We’re a 20-minute walk from the village square, under 10 km from Velenje, 20 km from Celje, and about 1 hour from Ljubljana.
We’d love to hear from you and possibly welcome you to our little community! 🌱

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
We reside on an energetically powerful land where we’re creating a blueprint for sustainable, conscious living, and where personal growth and authenticity are at the forefront.
You will receive daily support and guidance from our Head Grower who will teach skills based on permaculture principles.
You will find our community enjoys connecting through weekday meditations, movie nights, fire gatherings, group hikes, town outings, and more.
Help
We’re looking for conscious individuals who would like to live and help with us as part of our community. In return, we would provide accommodation (you may have to share a room with another Workawayer, but there will be no more than 2 people per room). Food is also provided -- We have all food staples, along with fresh produce from the farm, available in the farmhouse for you to make your own breakfast and dinner. Additionally, there is a team lunch prepared each weekday. Weekends, we have plenty of food in the kitchen, but you’re welcome to journey out of town if you’d like to go on an adventure!
All stays will depend upon having the appropriate visa requirements.
Currently, we are looking for a Garden helper to support our Head Grower on the farm.

She stayed with us only for a week.. the week we’ll be always grateful for.
Wishing her a wonderful adventures on her journey and sincerely hoping we’ll see her again.
While I was mainly helping cook for the yoga retreat course, we also had the chance to get into deep conversations and a good understanding of each other's lives. This was a time of reflection, observation, and introspection for me and I’ll cherish… read more
