Description
We are a animal friendly community engaged with farming, fruit growing and forestry.
My agro-partner Leonora joined me in April 23 and in June 23 joined us Sara and Alex. Our animal companions on the farm are cats and dog Art.
We are almost in the centre of sLOVEnia, near Litija. We should soon become self-sustaining because we have two springs of water, 12 ha of forest, a lot of healthy fertile land. We have also a big green house.
You may join me for the ride from Ljubljana on Thursday afternoon. On the other days we may help you with a transport from Litija to the farm. Alex and Sara usually driving home from work around 3pm and may pick you up in Litija.
Independently from Ljubljana you may take a train to Litija and (only on a workdays catch a bus (or hitchhike) to Cerovica (direction Gabrovka) at 12.23, 14.28, 15.38 and 17.18. From Cerovica you continue 300m and walk uphill for 2km or hitchhike. Hitchhiking is easy.
I usually drive back to Ljubljana on Monday or Tuesday morning.
We may provide you accommodation and food for three meals a day and expect from you to participate in the help up to 5hours a day.
We are eating plant based food and is desirable that you don’t bring any meat or meat products or alcohol. At the moment may accept also a long time residents and somebody who will takeover a farm after few years...
So far i traveled almost 150 countries, 80 on a bicycle, run 10 marathons and hosted more than 1000 guests in Ljubljana and on the farm in the last 22years.
I speak Croatian, English, Italian, Spanish and a bit of French, German, Portuguese and Bahasa.

We stayed at Robin's place for a week. We arrived at the very beginning of his project, which is therefore in construction today. It was a good experience, the work was not intensive but we enjoyed helping in the garden on the morning, harvesting blueberry and just enjoying this quiet place.
