Description
🌿 Welcome to our Farm in the Heart of Slovenia
We are a small, animal-friendly community dedicated to farming, fruit growing, and forestry, located near Litija, almost in the very centre of Slovenia.
Together with my agro-partner Leonora, who leads our permaculture farming, we are creating a sustainable and harmonious way of living. Our goal is to become self-sufficient, supported by two natural water springs, 12 hectares of forest, fertile land, and a large greenhouse.
You can spend your free time walking, picking mushrooms ,chestnut’s or berries, lounging in a pavilion or hammock, or going on longer walks. medieval castle and a forest botanical garden.
We provide: private accommodation, three plant-based meals per day and a peaceful natural environment
In exchange, we ask for:up to 5 hours of help per day 5 days per week
Rest days are usually between Monday and Thursday.
There is also a possibility for long-term stay or even permanent cohabitation, including the opportunity to take over the farm in the future.
When to Join
The most convenient arrival day is Thursday, when you can join me for a ride from Ljubljana to the farm in the afternoon.
How to Get Here
From Ljubljana you can join me on Thursday for a direct ride to the farm.
Alternatively with a train to Litija and from Litija train station (on weekdays), take a bus or hitchhike to Cerovica (direction Gabrovka) at:
• 12:23 • 14:28 • 15:38 or • 17:18
From Cerovica:you may walk 200 m in direction of bus and then 2 km uphill (or hitchhike — it’s easy) or we can help arrange transport.

She surprised me when she brought four 5l water containers from the well. And when she was harvesting wood in the forest, she showed a lot of perseverance and tenacity. Thank you very much Oceane.
I’m very grateful meeting Nanou.
They were patient with us when we had trouble communicating.
And the scenery is amazing. The starry sky was amazing!
they provide comfortable accommodation and healthy meals.
I'd love to come back someday and see how this farm has changed!
