    Description

Hello everyone! I'm excited to announce that I've reopened my account on Workaway to host you again. After spending the past year in Australia completing my studies and research, I'm back and ready to welcome traveller. If you've noticed that my profile rating is low and I haven't responded to your messages, it's because I had deactivated my activity on this app.

I'm a 27-year-old full-time farmer and part-time researcher residing in Tapanuli, Sumatra, Indonesia. Currently, I live on my farm in a cozy little cabin that I'm proud to call my own. The farm is surrounded by rice fields and various crops like banana trees, coconut trees, and papayas. It's located 150 km away from Lake Toba and a 2-hour drive from Sibolga beach. My place is situated in a non-touristy area, amidst untouched forests, stunning natural landscapes, and the tranquility of farm life.

--At the moment, I don't have any specific projects here, but I'm always busy tending to my snack fruit garden, paddy field, and making improvements to the cabin.

--If you decide to visit, you'll likely have the opportunity to work on your own things while staying with me in the cabin. Although I don't expect you to work, there are some students who would greatly appreciate your time to practice their English or simply share your experiences.

--Due to the size of my cabin and cultural considerations, I can only accommodate one person, and regrettably, I cannot host women, as you'll be living with me in the cabin located in the paddy field.

If you're interested in exploring a farmstay experience, a small town, and a non-touristy area in the heart of the Sumatran rainforest, feel free to send me a message. I'm eagerly looking forward to hosting you here!

As an environmental researcher, I'm passionate about collaborating and sharing knowledge to protect our planet. I also hope we can connect together and feel like a close-knit community, rather than strangers. During your stay at my cabin house, you'll experience a sense of home and have access to everything you need to unwind and relax.

In addition to providing a comfortable stay, I offer opportunities for engaging in activities that promote a slower pace of life. You can indulge in nourishing meals, practice yoga and meditation, and embrace the tranquility of the surroundings. By staying with me, you'll also have the chance to immerse yourself in our rich traditional culture. Learn the art of planting rice paddy, explore our captivating snake fruit garden, partake in traditional ceremonies, savor our local cuisine, and marvel at the beauty of the natural landscapes that surround us.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

One of my most significant and impactful endeavors is to educate the students and the community in my village about environmental issues, particularly the problem of plastic pollution, while also teaching English. It is my mission to provide knowledge and awareness to the students and engage in clean-up activities.
