    Description

We are family of artists living in Monteverde, Costa Rica. We are a family of six persons- two grown children studying abroad and four persons living here. We are Tarcisio and Marianella with our two teenagers, Ipsilan and Gudari.
We work on our own property where we have built two houses, one of them is a guesthouse where we have a Bed & Breakfast. Our family home is next door.
As mentioned above we are artists and we do various types of art such as sculpture, painting, ceramics, fine jewelry and more. At this time our guesthouse is taking most of our time and we need help with projects related to its improvement and business mangement.
We are very friendly and sensitive to the needs our volunteers may have. We will try to assure that you have a positive experience and a wonderful time here.

    Help

We started this guesthouse just over a 5 years ago and though it is up and running, we still need help completing some interior and exterior finish work as well as gardening and improving the business operations.
We are hard-working and friendly people with open minds to new suggestions and creative ideas.
If you have interest in practicing your Spanish, living in a beautiful locale, interacting with guests from many nations, gardening and construction work, please contact us.
We are VERY interested in hosting volunteers with experience in solar and wind power installation and maintenance. Monteverde is a prime candidate for such alternative power.
If you are interested, please email us. If you are a good fit, we will set up a time to talk with you on Skye or Whatsapp.
    Thanks!

    Accommodation

For each volunteer, we offer room and board in our family home. Our house is spacious and artistic. You will have your own room and access to one of the three bathrooms. There is hot water and wi-fi. Food is simple but delicious. We are located away from urban noise but close to modern facilities. There are good restaurants, a small grocery store, and an excellent coffee shop just five minutes walk from the house. The bigger town of Santa Elena is about a 20 minute walk. There are infrequent buses and taxis are easily available.
