Hi Workawayers!
Welcome to ,a unique hotel located in the beautiful mountains of Boquete, Western Panama. We are surrounded by the green hills of Volcán Barú, coffee plantations, hiking trails, waterfalls, and some of the most beautiful nature Panama has to offer.
Our castle is a fun and social place where travelers from all over the world come to stay, meet new people, explore Boquete, and enjoy the good vibes. You can start your morning with a hot cup of local coffee while watching the clouds roll through the mountains, and finish the day relaxing in one of our hot tubs under the stars.
We are looking for high-energy, social and outgoing Workawayers to join our team and help us keep the Castle's vibe alive!
You will be helping us with our daily activities and programming, getting guests involved, creating fun moments, and helping travelers connect with each other. We want someone who enjoys talking to people, organizing activities, bringing positive energy, and making sure our guests have an amazing time.
And the best part? You won't just be working at the Castle — you'll get to experience it with our guests!
When you're not helping with activities, you are free to explore Boquete, join our guests on adventures, discover hiking trails and waterfalls, visit coffee farms, or simply enjoy everything the Castle has to offer.
As a Workawayer, you can use our pool, hot tubs, gardens, cinema, game areas, and other spaces available to our guests.
You'll be surrounded by travelers from all over the world, so every day is different. One day you might be organizing a group activity at the Castle, the next you could be hiking through the mountains or discovering a new coffee spot in Boquete with people you just met.

We are located in a unique area of Boquete , Panama , surrounded by nature and by an authentic Panamanian Culture.
Mostly all of our staff are local , so its a nice opportunity to get immerse in the local culture , learn about local food and why not Spanish. -
Help
We are looking for **energetic, social, and creative people who can help us bring our daily programming to life and gather our guests for activities such as hikes, welcome activities, sunset experiences, and more.
We like to say that our volunteers are the glue of the Castle— the people who connect guests, create a welcoming atmosphere, and share everything Bambuda Castle and Boquete have to offer with enthusiasm.
We ask for 15 hours of work per week with a minimum commitment of 4 weeks. Volunteers usually work around 3 hours per shift, with different shifts available depending on the daily programming and activities.
We have a daily activity program to guide you, but we also love volunteers who bring their own ideas and talents. Whether you enjoy hiking, teaching, music, cocktails, wellness, games, or simply meeting new people, there is space for you to create experiences.

You won't just be organizing activities — you'll have the opportunity to join them, explore Boquete with our guests, and create memorable experiences along the way. -

Accommodation
We have a special room for volunteers , for maximum 2 people with a private bathroom. From the window you can see the highest volcano in Panama !! It's amazing!
We offer as well laundry services , discounts on food and beverages and free activities.
Shared kitchen is also available. -
What else ...
Boquete its known for its landscapes , mountains , hikes and unique nature environment and as well for their coffee plantations , so in your free time there are tons of majestic places to go around and have fun with our guests our just staying in the Castle.
Town its about 2,5 km from the hostel. Its a 35 - 40 minutes walk , also accessible by taxi ($1).
We expect to receive fellow travelers responsible to meet the duration of the agreement ( Minimum 1 month) and for the tasks asked to help around.
Other than that , the Castle is a special place , with great vibes and energy from staff , guests and community. -
