Our Farm is a not-for-profit social enterprise. We employ people who have serious barriers to employment to come and be part of the family and learn new skills in the process. All profits are either invested back into the farm (ie. fences, food for animals etc) and/or donated to a charity. As the founders we are working entirely as volunteers and do not take a wage.
Food. We love food. Good food. We offer local (like your backyard local) food for you to enjoy. We specialize in vegetables, fruit, chicken and goat. Fresh food that contributes to the community never tasted so food!
Family. We are all about relationships with family and friends that are like family. Our family is bigger then just our biological family, it's our community. Our Farm is here to grow community and grow relationships with each other.
Faith. We are here because of our Christian faith. We try and have it influence everything we do. We try and be generous and gracious and allow our farm to give people a second chance through meaningful skills training.
We feel incredibly lucky that we get to do what we love. We’d love for you to take part in the farm experience. For more information, get in touch!

Our Farm is a not for profit, volunteer run farm in the middle of Cambridge, Ontario. We have people from the community, at-risk youth and women from the local prison all volunteering weekly to help run the farm. We raise goats, chickens and fruit to sell to the community and local resturants. All of the proceeds are then donated to a charities food security program. This program helps people overseas learn how to farm their land so they can have a steady food source. Our Farm aims to help their local community and the international community.
We are located right in the middle of Cambridge, Ontario with a public transit bus stop within a 2 min walk. This would allow easy access to the rest of the tri-cities area and easy bus to Toronto via Greyhound.
You would need to volunteer on weekends as well since we have animals.
We are a small farm without many people working on the farm. There very likely might just be you and myself working. I dedicate 9am-3pm to the farm and then I have to pick up my children from school/camp so after 3pm you would be working on your own. In the evenings you would be alone as I will be taking care of my kids/sports/bed time and so you would be able to go around town and explore or spend time alone in your accommodation.
We currently have goats, chickens and might be getting a horse. In our field we have raspberries, strawberries, rhubarb and garlic.
We have two camping trailers
