Shaaz is a long term traveler, surfer, and hospitality guy who created this premium hostel concept in Sri Lanka. After spending years running stays and hostels in Dubai and traveling around the world, he decided Sri Lanka was the right place to bring his island life dream to reality. The idea is simple: a beachfront hostel where comfort, community, culture, and coastal living all come together. The hostels are designed for travelers, surfers, digital nomads, and anyone who loves a social but comfortable stay. They offer private rooms, stylish dorms, hangout spaces, a bar, a restaurant, and weekly activities that bring people together. The plan is not just one location , the goal is to raise the hostel standards in Sri Lanka and slowly build a chain of premium hostels across the island. Every place will focus on sustainability, community vibes, and real Sri Lankan coastal culture. For Shaaz, this is not just a business, it’s his personal dream: creating spaces where people connect, surf, make memories, and feel the true soul of Sri Lanka.

Help
We’re looking for young, passionate travellers who want to experience real island life in Sri Lanka. Our beachfront hostel is all about surf vibes, adventure, music, community and that relaxed tropical rhythm. We’re building a global family here and we’d love to welcome a few energetic volunteers to join us.
We’re looking for people who genuinely love the beach, surfing, nature and a sense of community. If you’re social, friendly, adventurous, open to new cultures, positive, responsible and excited about living right by the ocean, you’ll fit in perfectly. No experience is needed, just the right energy and a willingness to be part of something fun.
We have a few roles available depending on what you enjoy. As a social host you’ll hang out with guests, help lead beach trips and sunset meetups, run game nights , tours . help create a fun vibe during events and parties( NOT SERVE DRINKS OR COOK ) Yoga lovers can teach morning or sunset sessions and help us build a peaceful wellness atmosphere. Musicians are welcome too if you’d like to host open mic nights or play your own music. We also have reception shifts for anyone who enjoys welcoming guests and helping them feel at home.
All we ask is about four to five hours of your time each day along with a positive attitude, good energy and a desire to be part of the family. In return you’ll get free accommodation right on the beach, access to all our events and activities, the surf lifestyle, island living and the chance to meet people from all over the world while helping build Sri Lanka’s next big hostel chain.

Accommodation
At our hostel, we make sure every volunteer feels at home and truly enjoys the island lifestyle while being part of our community. When you join our team, you’ll receive free accommodation in a comfortable dorm bed in our premium beachfront hostel, along with access to all common areas, hangout spots and coworking spaces. You’ll live in a safe, social and clean environment surrounded by travellers from all over the world.
You’ll also get free daily breakfast, with fresh, local and healthy meals shared with the team and guests. It’s the perfect way to start your day before activities or volunteer hours.
Volunteers are welcome to join all our weekly events at no cost. This includes beach trips, sunset gatherings, yoga sessions when available, BBQ nights, open mic nights, workshops and any special activities happening during your stay.
As part of the hostel family, you’ll experience the full beachfront lifestyle and a warm, social community. You’ll meet people from around the world and still have plenty of free time to explore Sri Lanka and enjoy the island at your own pace.
