  Shaaz is a long-term traveler, surfer, and hospitality guy who has spent years running hotels and hostels in Dubai while traveling around the world. Along the way, one thing became clear to him: Sri Lanka was the right place to turn his island-life dream into something real.
  
  The idea is simple a collection of beachfront and social hostels where comfort, community, culture, and coastal living all come together. A place designed for travelers, surfers, digital nomads, and anyone who loves meeting people while still having a comfortable stay. Think private rooms, stylish dorms, swimming pools, bars, restaurants, co-working spaces, and weekly activities that naturally bring everyone together.
  
  We're already welcoming guests at our first property, Beach Hostel in Mirissa, and we're just getting started.
  
  By the end of September, we'll have two more properties ready. One will be a party hostel right in the heart of Mirissa, perfect for travelers looking for a fun and social atmosphere. The other will be a boutique social hostel, offering a more relaxed experience while still bringing people together. All of our properties have swimming pools, private rooms, dorms, co-working spaces, and are built around creating a friendly, social community.
  
  This isn't just about one hostel. The goal is to slowly raise hostel standards in Sri Lanka and build a small chain of premium social hostels across the island, each one focused on great hospitality, sustainability, and real Sri Lankan coastal culture.
  
  For Shaaz, this isn't just a business. It's personal. It's about creating places where people connect, surf, share stories, make memories, and experience the real soul of Sri Lanka.

  Create a friendly, social atmosphere at the hostel.
  
  **What you’ll do:**
  
  * Welcome guests and help them connect
  * Organize games, sunset walks, beach hangouts
  * Host evening social activities

  ### 🔹 Front Desk / Guest Relations
  
  Be the first smile guests see.

  * Check-ins and check-outs

  Plan and run daily hostel activities.

  At our hostel, we make sure every volunteer feels at home and truly enjoys the island lifestyle while being part of our community. When you join our team, you’ll receive free accommodation in a comfortable dorm bed in our premium beachfront hostel, along with access to all common areas, hangout spots and coworking spaces. You’ll live in a safe, social and clean environment surrounded by travellers from all over the world.
  
  You’ll also get free daily breakfast, with fresh, local and healthy meals shared with the team and guests. It’s the perfect way to start your day before activities or volunteer hours.
  
  Volunteers are welcome to join all our weekly events at no cost. This includes beach trips, sunset gatherings, yoga sessions when available, BBQ nights, open mic nights, workshops and any special activities happening during your stay.
  
  As part of the hostel family, you’ll experience the full beachfront lifestyle and a warm, social community. You’ll meet people from around the world and still have plenty of free time to explore Sri Lanka and enjoy the island at your own pace.
