  Ciao! My name is Antonio and I own a small hotel on the beautiful island of Isola Di San Pietro, Sardinia. I am also a workawayer, having recently volunteered in Puglia (Italy) and Portugal. I very much enjoy travelling, meeting new people, and being exposed to new cultures and experiences. I love being surrounded by nature and on my time off, you are likely to find me swimming at the beach (even during winter months!), or working outside on a DIY project with recycled materials. Other interests of mine include: fitness, cooking, surfing, reading/researching (anything and everything!), and art (both creating and observing).

  Learn/Improve your Italian, and how to cook Italian cuisine. Workawayers with limited experience can learn how to use tools, complete basic renovation tasks, and get their creative juices flowing with DIY projects!

  Help

  Untill the end of April 2024 I am looking for a person (or couple) who is able to give me a hand with light renovation work in preparation of the re-opening of the hotel for the summer season (painting, sanding, plastering,expeccialy gardening). Although experience is not mandatory, I would prefer someone with basic skills that can work independently. Carpentry skills a plus! Must be available for a minimum of 3 weeks.
  If you are looking to extend your stay after the re-opening of the hotel you can work as receptionist (only people with basic Italian will be considered), housekeeper or as helper of the breakfast buffet.
  Only for EU members or people with work visa.
  The minimum wage is guaranteed and the amount depend on the position.
  
  LAST UPDATE 2024/04/03. Now April/may we are looking for someone or a couple who can help us with the work around the garden.
  Different skills are necessary if you are good in plumbing, DIY project or with stones is a plus!

  Accommodation

  My house is located in the countryside, steps away from my hotel. It is divided in two parts, where you will have your own private room and bathroom, and a simple kitchen. There is a big terrasse with breathtaking views where you can enjoy your morning coffee while listening to the birds and sounds of nature, and plenty of outdoor open space.
  Aside from accommodation, I will provide food for self-cooking or we can plan meals together.

  The house is located within 5km of the beautiful city centre and harbour of Carloforte, and only a 15 walk from the closest beach.
  The island is protected and has incredible hiking/walking spots, beautiful beaches, and unspoiled nature. Diving, Sailing, Wind surf, Fishing, SUP and Scooter/bike rental is also available during the summer months. (I can however arrange to provide you with a bicycle should you desire).
