    Description

We are semi-retired medical doctors with a house near downtown ojai and the bike path. We live adjacent to the Los Padres national forest - for hiking and mountain biking- and a 20 minute drive ( or bus trip) to the Pacific Ocean- for surfing and beach. We have a large home with pool and garden, and currently have 2 cats. They are formerly feral, but now can’t stand being left alone.

We like to travel and are gone often. We have a renter in an attached but separate apartment and she has 3 dogs and chickens which she cares for.

A sunlit, grassy yard with scattered gardening tools, fencing, and trees. Shadows from branches stretch across the lush landscape. A peaceful, rural, natural scene.
A large tree stands over a chicken coop with a red shed, wire fencing, bins, and buckets scattered around. Sunlight filters through leafy branches overhead.
The image shows a backyard with a swimming pool, a blue slide, picnic tables, a covered seating area, lots of potted plants, and lush greenery.
A serene backyard features a sparkling swimming pool, hammock, loungers, pool slide, tropical palm trees, shaded seating area, and lush greenery under a bright blue sky.
This cozy bedroom features a large bed, wooden flooring, a study desk, light blue curtains, wall art, a ceiling fan, and bright natural lighting.
A fluffy black cat with green eyes sits close to the camera. Its ears are slightly bent, with white fur tips. Cozy, homey living room background.
A tortoiseshell cat sits on a cluttered desk with pencils, notebooks, and papers. A lamp glows nearby. The kitchen and stools appear in the background.
A smiling older couple stands together indoors, wearing patterned Nordic sweaters. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, with soft lighting and homey, rustic decorations in the background.
