Description
We are semi-retired medical doctors with a house near downtown ojai and the bike path. We live adjacent to the Los Padres national forest - for hiking and mountain biking- and a 20 minute drive ( or bus trip) to the Pacific Ocean- for surfing and beach. We have a large home with pool and garden and yard (2 acres fenced), and currently have 2 cats. They are formerly feral, but now can’t stand being left alone.
We like to travel and are gone often. We have a renter in an attached but separate apartment and she has 3 dogs and chickens which she cares for. She also travels for work and takes her dogs with her. We need help with house / cat sitting while we are away and helping to feed chickens when we are all away.

Accommodation
You will have a private bedroom with a king size bed and potentially shared bath ( if anyone else is visiting while you are here). If we are away, you are on your own for food but have full kitchen privileges . We will pay for cat food and litter. When we are home, we can share cooking but we are happy to do the shopping.

What else ...
Absolutely no drugs or smoking of any kind. Alcohol is fine. We have some extra bikes in the garage- helmets too- if you use one, please lock the bike when parking anywhere.
There is a bus that goes to Ventura every hour all day- from there you can catch an Amtrack train anywhere you want to go.

Former feral garage cat - now house dweller
