Description
Hi!
We are a couple who bought an old hunting lodge in alora in Southern Spain a few years ago. Swimming pool, pool table, boules, roof terrace - all very beautiful. The lodge came with 10 acres of olive grove attached to it (It had been abandoned for many years) and it's now restored and registered organic. Any olive oil we produce is for personal use only and is given to friends and family who absolutely love it! We are not a business and make no money from our olives.
We are 35 minutes drive from Malaga and 20 minutes drive to the beautiful lakes at El Chorro and the famous Caminito del RayTypes of help and learning opportunities

What else ...
We are a 20 minute walk from the very pretty white village of Alora, which has plenty of bars and restaurants. We're also a 20 minute walk from Alora railway station where you can get direct trains to Malaga or to Ronda. If you have a car, El Chorro is only a 25 minute drive away and the famous Caminito Del Rey walk. But if we all get on, we may even drive you there! We do ask you are independent in your spare time - we live in quite an open plan house and we do enjoy our personal space! We can accommodate specific diets, but probably not vegan - our neighbours give us beautiful fresh eggs on a regular basis and they are delicious. I’m gluten free, but we do eat fish and meat - and in our house there are a few (very ancient) animal heads as it’s an old hunting lodge - however, we had nothing to do with their demise or them being on the wall! We don’t have wifi, but 4G works very well.
