Details
 - Description- We (Kamil, Sarah, Omri and Ilana) were travelling as "workawayers" for a couple of years and came across this Island, its stunning nature and beautiful people. Our neighbour project hosted us and we thought : "This could be one of our homes!" (As the world is so big and beautiful, we would love to have at least 2 or 4 homes :D)
2 years later, we manifested to live on the land next to our previous host and are now able to build up something ourselves.
And there it is, where you come in. This land and this vision is too big to work, dream and live alone on it.
Olive trees want to be pruned, vine to be cut back and tied up, a garden wants to thrive, retreats want to take place, art wants to get through every corner of you and this land and children want to learn freely.
 - Types of help and learning opportunities- Art Projects - Teaching - Gardening - DIY and building projects - Farmstay help - Babysitting and creative play
 - UN sustainability goals this host is trying to achieve
 - Cultural exchange and learning opportunities- I looove travelling through the eyes and stories of others, to learn new bits and pieces of every language I come across and to be a cozy home for those on the journey. We have a big community here, spear fisher, painter, writer, cooks, baker, builder, coaches, gardeners, theater owner,dancer..... Some are local, since generations on the island, some are expats like us. You will meet all of them somehow as this magical island is so small and crowded with inspirational people :)
We speak German,Polish and English our neighbour adds French and Greek, are always keen to share and learn the languages of this world. No matter if they are vocal or not ;)
They tell me to talk about the skills and knowledge we can share. So we are learning all this land tending, perma-culturing, building staff ourselfs. We really always do that together with someone of the group that has more knowledge than us or just try and succeed or learn. So you are welcome to get into that process with us and bring your own ideas, crafts and knowledge:)
What we can share is a lot about discovering yourself and how you relate to what ever this is, how to create intentional relationships, build up/ find your own dreams and unlearn things that hinder you to thrive. But thats just up to you ;)
 - Help- Just by being here, sharing your storys and living together for a while you contribute already a lot. The kids, we, the community around us, the land thrives on the good energy and unique perspectives you bring.
Our current projects we want to work on together are:
-a natural stonewall with integrated rocket stove/grill to have an outside living room
 -an outside kitchen
 -preparing the land for winter/spring
 -preparing a garden for spring
-watch the kids (mostly the 8 yrs old, sometimes, if it works out the 1 yrs old)
Also we are a community of "unschoolers", we meet 3 times a day and each community member brings in ideas for tutorials, crafts, learning oppurtunities. Your input is much welcomed here :)
 - Languages- Languages spoken
 German: Fluent
 Greek: Fluent
 English: Fluent
Polish: Fluent- This host offers a language exchange
This host has indicated that they are interested in sharing their own language or learning a new language.
You can contact them directly for more information.
 - Accommodation- You have either a room with a double bed and an open fire place or a caravan with two sleeping spaces and an oven. I will put pictures :)
Note that this is still really off-grid here. There is compost-toilets, hot shower heated by a wooden fire boiler and power to charge things only at the "docking-station". We will develope some things and still always remain that off grid character and preatine nature. You will see, what we mean :)
We have a "main house" were we live now and also we we can gather sometimes, share meals or just chat.
You will have you own little cooking station outside (and we will build a proper kitchen together) but as long as it is more or less improvised we are happy to prepare the meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) in our house and serve them to you then (we really are, somewhere in both of us is an italian grandma hidden, that just loves to cook for her people :D)
