I spent several hours one day meeting this wonderful family. We had tea together and shared numerous travel stories, discussed my travel plans, and I was able to help them on a project with my knowledge of civil engineering. I felt so welcomed by their immediate friendly hospitality and genuine curiosity about me and my life story. Little K is so

Their house is perfectly located. It's a quiet area surrounded in tall fir trees, but it's not a far walk to the bus that goes south to Seattle, and east to Kenmore, Bothell, and Woodinville, which are all great cities full of hundreds of coffee shops, breweries and wineries. It's near the lake for swimming, bike paths for long bicycle rides, and several parks for nature and hiking.
I really enjoyed meeting you all. I hope to see you again! You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.

We got to meet Andy before his next adventure abroad. He's quite the traveler and with a nice, easy-going, and genuine personality, he'd fit pretty much anywhere! Clearly, he loves meeting other cultures and stay in one place long enough to actually get a real sense of the local culture (which isn't that common among travelers). Anyway, great encounter.
Thanks Andy for the help and engineering tips! Let's stay in touch!

Thanks to him the list of things to do went down :) Ian is a nice guy, always in a good mood, taking life as it comes, and able to enjoy the simple things. He is also very creative when it comes to cooking and I'd recommend trying what he comes up with
