  Hi, we're Dario and Ivana. (We haven't hosted for a while, but we're now ready for a new location and a new project.) We live in Sparta on the Tyrrhenian coast of Sicily, about 20 km from Messina. We have a park and an olive grove. We'd like to open a path through the woods leading down to the sea, which is 800 meters away, so you can reach the beach in 15 minutes.
  
  If you have a good team spirit, a sense of community, and a love of adventure, then you're welcome. You can enjoy beautiful hikes in the surrounding area (no need to be the best, or do nothing that disrupts the group, no aggressive behavior, no drugs.) and live outdoors in harmony with nature...

  Ciao siamo Dario ed Ivana, (per un po' di tempo non abbiamo più ospitato, adesso siamo pronti in una nuova location ed un nuovo progetto ) viviamo a Spartá sulla costa tirrenica della Sicilia, a circa 20 km da Messina. Abbiamo un parco di 20.000 mq più un uliveto di 6000 mq, vorremmo aprire una strada nel bosco che da noi scende sino al mare che dista 800 metri per arrivare sino alla spiaggia camminando per 15 minuti.
  
  Se avete un buon *spirito di squadra*, di comunità e di avventura allora siete i benvenuti, potrete godervi delle belle escursioni nei dintorni (Niente essere i migliori, o nulla facenti che rompono il gruppo, niente comportamenti aggressivi, niente droghe.) vivere all'aria aperta in armonia con la natura...

  The volunteers who will be helping us, have the chance to get to know the Sicilian culture. At our park you can meet many people to have cultural exchanges.

  Help

  Volunteers can help with daily tasks, such as clearing the lawn, tending the vegetable garden, harvesting, and cleaning. We'd like to expand our vegetable gardens to be more self-sufficient. They can help with creating a small treehouse or chicken coop, tending the olive grove, and you can use your creativity to create artwork while paving the path to the sea. Or lend a hand with household chores; anyone eager to pick up a shovel is welcome. We cater to those interested in organic farming, yoga, meditation, and nature, but we also welcome those who want to find some time to themselves in the Sicilian countryside.
  I don't provide food. You can use a shared kitchen and buy and cook your own food. This is independent hospitality for people who enjoy helping out and have plenty of free time to relax, visit, or it could be a nice option for volunteers who come to relax and focus (write a book, walk, work on the internet, take photos, read books, study, etc.). Of course, I'll be happy to share meals with you.
  
  I volontari possono aiutare nelle mansioni giornaliere, quali pulizia del verde, cura dell'orto, raccolta, vorremmo ampliare i nostri orti in modo tale di essere più autosufficienti, possono aiutarci per chi sa costruire una casa sull'albero, una casa per le galline, cura dell'uliveto e nell' apertura del sentiero verso il mare...
  
  puoi usare la tua creatività per creazioni artistiche. O dare una mano nei lavori di casa, chiunque sia entusiasta a prendere una pala o una sega è ben accetto.
  
  Da noi c'è spazio per coloro che sono interessati all'agricoltura biologica, allo yoga e alla meditazione, alla natura, ma sono benvenuti anche coloro che vogliono trovare un pò di tempo per stare con se stessi in mezzo alla campagna Siciliana.
  
  Non provvedo al cibo. È possibile utilizzare una cucina condivisa e acquistare e cucinare il cibo.
  Questa è un'ospitalità indipendente per persone che amano essere d'aiuto e hanno molto tempo libero per riposare, visitare o potrebbe essere piacevole per i volontari che vengono per rilassarsi e anche concentrarsi (scrivere un libro, camminare, lavorare su internet, fare foto, leggere libri, studiare ecc.).

  Accommodation

  We currently offer indoor accommodations on beds with mattresses and sleeping bags, or in tents; you can bring your own hammock or tent if you wish. For those with campers, we can provide water and electricity hookups. We can also offer laundry service. For bathrooms, we use a rudimentary compost toilet, and for showers, we have solar showers. In short, if you have a bit of an adventurous spirit, you can have fun and enjoy a swim in the sea overlooking the Aeolian Islands...
  
  
  Attualmente possiamo ospitare in un luogo coperto su letti con materassi e sacco a pelo oppure in tenda, puoi portare la tua amaca o tenda se lo desideri.
  Per chi ha un camper possiamo fornire allaccio di acqua e luce.
  Possiamo dare il servizio lavanderia. per il bagno usiamo una compost toilette rudimentale, e per la doccia abbiamo delle docce solari.
  insomma se hai un pò di spirito di avventura, puoi divertirti e fare dei bei bagni al mare con vista sulle isole Eolie...

  We're located 1 km from the nearest beach. (If we can build our own path to the sea! 😀) Bus number 32 from Messina's Cavallotti train station stops 150 meters from us. Nearby are the sandy mountains of Capo Rasocolmo with views of the Aeolian Islands, and 10 km from the Capo Peloro Lagoon and Ganzirri Lakes Nature Reserve, the closest point between Sicily and Calabria.
  
  
  Ci troviamo a 1 km dalla spiaggia più vicina. (Se riusciamo a costruire il nostro sentiero sino al mare 😀)
  Il mezzo di trasporto bus numero 32 dalla stazione dei treni di Messina (Cavallotti) ferma a 150 metri da noi.
  Nelle vicinanze abbiamo le montagne di sabbia di Capo Rasocolmo con vista sulle sette Isole Eolie, ed a 10 km c'è la Riserva Naturale Orientata Laguna di Capo Peloro e Laghi di Ganzirri, punto più vicino tra Sicilia e Calabria,
  (Dove si trovano Scilla e Cariddi creature marine che affrontò l'accorto Odisseo 😀)
