    Description

Hi! My name is Maria, I have been traveling for the past 10 years, around southamerica, central America, California, Canada Australia & few counties in asia, specially in love with Thailand and India.
I volunteer many times in organic farms, sustainable projects including permaculture and bio construction. I am interested in mindfulness, yoga, taoism, massage therapy, kirtan, contact improvisation dance and any sort of body work, exchanging knowledge would be part of the volunteer task :)

Now I have a place in Chile where I have the vision to start building slowly a community/glamping/ holistic centre, but at the moment I only have the house so I need some help to start building a garden & a space to practice bodywork( yoga/qi gong/ chi nei tsang or Thai massage. Now I started plantin trees and and building up a garden.

I am looking for volunteer that can help with carpentry, natural construction or knowledge about agroforestry, gardening and planting trees, working with bocashi is also a plus.

Also someone with skills and equipment to take photography/ or dron shots for creating a website, publicity, canva and create a short video to apply for some monetary benefits that the government can give for entrepreneurs would be lots of help. Or if you are good with social media, we could also work with that.

If you feel you have similar interests, community oriented vission & you feel a call to come and help I would totally appreciate it.

Location: San Fabian, this place has not been massively exploited for tourism and is part of the Nevados de Chillán Biological Corridor biosphere reserve.

I have a small house just beside the Ñuble river, beautiful mountains surround us. There is a local market happening every week. We could plan to go for some hiking to hidden lagoons on the Andes mountains. Rafting is also an attraction in this town. Eco- tourism is just starting a couple years back, so expect to be around mostly local people & only a few tavelers.

How to get here: From Santiago Bus Station, buy a bus ticket to San Carlos( there is many buses coming the best one is EME bus), it takes about 4.5 hours to get there.
Tell the helper of the bus or driver to drop you off at Copec gas station. From there you can take a bus to San Fabian, or I could possibly pick you up from there. If you don't feel confident in Spanish, make sure you have mobile data in your phone and give me a call when you get into the bus, and I can help out.

The bus will take one hour to arrive in San Fabian.

We are located in the area called la balsa, the nearest markets and restaurants are 2km away, 30 mins walk.
I am looking forward to meet you :)
