Description
Hello, we are an Italian No-Profit organization dedicated to fostering social inclusion, and cultural development with a variety of activities for school-age kids.
In the hamlets of the Ferrara and Modena provinces, the association tackles cultural and social isolation through targeted initiatives:
The English Afterschool: In cooperation with local primary schools we created an innovative afterschool where homework are linked with cultural and social activities in english.
Inclusive Youth Labs: Partnering with local organizations we host music , theatre and craft workshops designed to empower local youth.
Intergenerational Connection: Through summer camps and public events, we bridge the gap between younger and older generations, with the aim to bring new life and opportunities into small towns.

We can offer a highly dynamic environment within a team of musicians, theater lovers and English teachers. It' s the perfect place to learn or improve your Italian while sharing your own passions and talents.
We work closely with children, who inspire us every day and constantly bring fresh energy and new input to our projects.
In return, what we hope to receive from our Workawayers is exactly that: new perspectives, genuine curiosity, and a beautiful exchange of different cultures!

Youth and Kids Animation by supporting our educational activities, organizing games, and helping with creative labs.
Conversational English Sessions to help our community members practice and improve their language skills through informal, friendly chats and group discussions.

Our Workawayers have the wonderful opportunity to learn and practice Italian naturally, right through everyday activities alongside our team and the children. Please note that this is a true language exchange: while you immerse yourself in our language and daily life, you will be expected to speak in English with the children. Your main role will be to help them learn and get comfortable with English in a fun, spontaneous way. It’s a mutual learning experience where everyone grows together!
Accommodation
We offer a private single room in a countryside house, featuring a comfortable bed, a bathroom fully dedicated to your use, and a large garden where you can relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
The house is located right between the provinces of Modena, Ferrara, and Bologna, making it a quite comfortable base to explore these three beautiful areas.
Our volunteers will have lunch and dinner together with the team. For breakfast they will be free to eat/cook whatever they prefer. Just share with us the ingredients list and we'll do the rest.
