We have a medical clinic, we are remodeling and I need a person to help me with masonry, plumbing. We have a huge garden, we also require gardening help and knowledge in cultivating. I'm looking for people who are in that awakening of consciousness. I am in a town in Tlaxcala near Puebla.

Tenemos un jardín enorme, también requerimos ayuda de jardinería y conocimientos en cultivar.

I offer accommodation with an independent room with food included, you can get to know the culture, places, typical food, I can teach you what emotional medicine is as a healing technique. We do social service, we visit some schools, asylums applying emotional medicine. It will be a beautiful experience.

Maintenance for the clinic to carry out various works of painting, drywall, plumbing, masonry, for the orchard, planting, cutting the grass, design or construction of gardens.

Or if you have basic nursing knowledge it would be great, how to give injections.

Accommodation
Independent room with a double bed and a full bathroom, with a small refrigerator. The room has a view of the garden. It has a shared kitchen. You can use the gardens, the living room, and the television. We provide food support during your stay.
Volunteers have free weekends.

Habitación independiente con cama matrimonial y baño completo, con un pequeño refrigerador. La habitación tiene vista al jardín. Cuenta con cocina compartida. Puede usar espacios de esparcimiento los jardines, la sala, televisión. Apoyamos con la alimentación durante su estancia.

In your free time you can visit the tourist and archaeological sites near the place, we have the great pyramid of Cholula 1 hour away and the archaeological zone of Cacaxtla also 1 hour away. Located between the city of Puebla and the city of Tlaxcala, and two and a half hours from Mexico City. We are 25 min from the bus terminal. I can also make a connection for anyone who wants to take an engraving class. I would also like to have someone to practice my English and Japanese with.

En su tiempo libre puede conocer los sitios turísticos, arqueológicos cerca al lugar, tenemos la gran pirámide de Cholula a 1 hora y zona arqueológica de Cacaxtla también a 1 hora. Ubicados entre la ciudad de Puebla y la ciudad de Tlaxcala, y a dos horas y media de ciudad de México. Estamos a 25 min de la terminal de autobuses. También puedo hacer una conexión para quien quiera tomar una clase de grabado. Me gustaría también tener alguien con quien practicar mi inglés y japonés.

Diana and her mother were so loving, warm, adaptive and supportive people. They made a meaningful impact on me and my life. There was never any pressure of any kind. The mother, Estelle is deaf but that does not stop her in any way from enjoying her life or moving independently in the community. She has a computer by which she communicates in… read more spanish with you. Sometimes communication is done on paper. She is also an artist and loves to paint. She also loves dancing and will start dancing without notice and hopes you join in.. Diana, an emotional therapist who is seeing patients in their lower level medical clinic. A clinic that has been in the community for half a century. The father/Doctor passed a few years ago and the family is making efforts to keep this clinic running with an on-call physician.My duties were to clean it 2x weekly, sweep mop, wipe chairs and sweep the stairs. The clinic has about 10 rooms with functional equipment. There is need for plumbing and maintenance work in the clinic. Hopefully a volunteer with these skills can help them out. The clinic is open 5 days a week. Vegan Meals were prepared by the mother on the lower level, however sometimes we were all in the kitchen preparing the meal. The small town has several shops to purchase snacks and pasteries of your choice. Duties: Required in the kitchen were to clean dishes, clear the table, sweep and mop. Keep things tidy, however Estelle (mother always has something going). There are 3 friendly dogs on the property behind a tall gate and who sleep outside in their dog houses/never enter the home. Volunteers are responsible for feeding them 1 x /daily. Duties also included keeping the outside paths cleaned up on a daily basis. Their are lots of trees, plants and leaves. The grass cutting needs to be done as well. I think they need to make it very clear to volunteers what they want done to the garden area. It is huge and the mother cares and loves it.
Accommodations: I was the only volunteer. The bedrooom is upstairs with a full size bed,full kitchen, with refrigerator, micro wave , stove and bathroom. I had to move the micro wave closer to an outlet and never used the stove ( I was allowed to) because meals were prepared on the lower lever and sufficed for me.I would suggest that volunteers bring warm pajamas for the night as it did cool down. They did provide 2 warm covers for the bed. This area is your responsibility to keep clean.
Activities; Estelle took me to visit people in the town who were happy to receive me. We also traveled once by their car to a large outdoor market about 1 hour away and then the mother and myself used the local transportation to travel to another huge market outside. The bus took 1 hour and 45 minutes each way. An excellent way to learn the people and culture.
This is an excellent workaway especially for anyone that is easy going, a self starter, work well with people and is willing to do small jobs to help them on the property. It was a great time for me. I was welcomed with a warm soul and hope to see them again. I stayed 3 weeks and could have stayed longer. Tlaxaca is 30-40 minutes from the Puebla bus station.

Pasé un muy buen rato con Diana en la clínica. Mis tareas eran muy variadas e interesantes. También pude probar bastante de la cocina mexicana. Tenía mi propia habitación con baño y me permitían llevar a mi perro. También había un espacio de estacionamiento seguro disponible para mi auto
