  Description

  Hi there, my name is Valentina. I love traveling and exploring.
  After many years moving around, two years ago I, with the help of my parents, bought this small but stunning house near the village where I grew up. It is located inland 35 km from Rimini and 35 km from Cesena.
  The house itself has just been renovated, some details are still in progress however.
  The land around is about 6 hectares, and close to me ther is also my parent's house, and my sister's house with her family.
  My family is taking care of the 100ish olive trees that my grandparents planted about 60 years ago.
  The harvest is usually between October and November and provide right the amount of olive oil for my family, we don't sell it.
  
  
  
  Mi chiamo Valentina, mi piace viaggiare e conoscere posti nuovi. Due anni fa, con l'aiuto dei miei genitori, abbiamo rimesso a nuovo una piccola casetta in campagna, nel paese in cui sono cresciuta, tra le colline romagnole.
  Vicino a casa mia vivono anche mia sorella con la sua famigla e i miei genitori.
  Il terreno intorno è di 6 ettari, tra boschivo e giardino.
  Abbiamo un centinaio di olivi, piantati da mio nonno circa 60 anni fa. Ci fornisce il quantitativo di olio necessario per la nostra cerchia familiare. La mia famiglia sta continuando a prendersene cura e fare la raccolta delle olive ogni anno.

  An ideal location for those seeking tranquility, nestled in the countryside. The main village is just a few minutes' drive away, or a 15-20 minute walk. Rimini is a 40-45 minutes drive away.
  
  I would be happy to share the knowledge of the olive oil process, from the picking to the oil mill.
  
  I also take my time during the weekend to go to town or visit some friends. There will be always a place for you in my car if you want to join.
  
  We can also go together to visit some places in my surroundings and I will be very happy to share the culture of my region.
  
  
  Luogo ideale per chi cerca tranquillità, immerso nella campagna. Il paesino principale è a pochissimi minuti di macchina. 15/20 minuti a piedi.

  Help

  I'm looking for someone to help my family with the olive picking, usually taking about 2 weeks, between October and November (depending on the weather and the size of the olives!). In the last few years this task is involving me, my sister and my brother in law. Sometimes some friends show up to help and enjoy the outside life. The picking start in the late morning, then we have lunch together under the shade of the trees, my mom always provide us plenty of food!
  
  My garden is very extended, some side are just wild woods, but the area surrounding the house need a lot of maintenance. I would also really like to find some help with gardening, mowing, pruning, planting and giving it a new shape. The house itself is brand new but outside there is still a lot to do.. And some parts still need to be decluttered.
  
  And nonetheless there is my family's dog! A playful and stubborn named Lucky. Always waiting for someone to go for a walk or play with.
  He has been adopted when he was 2 months, and he is used to be with kids. But he has a strong personality so he may not be for everyone.
  
  Cerco qualcuno che abbia voglia di aiutare con la raccolta delle olive, che si tiene di solito tra ottobre e novembre. I miei genitori sono in pensione e questo compito è rimasto a me, mia sorella e mio cognato. Di solito la raccolta inizia in tarda mattinata e finisce alle prime ore del pomeriggio. Mia mamma prepara da mangiare per tutti e si fa picnic tra gli ulivi!
  
  Il mio giardino è molto grande e richiede tanto lavoro.. Io vivo da sola e mi piacerebbe avere un aiuto per tagliare il prato, ripulire, potare e piantare. Mi piacerebbe creare dei sentierini e delle scalette in giardino, utilizzando pietre e vecchie tavelle.
  
  Inoltre c'è il nostro cane, Lucky, che non vede l'ora di essere portato a fare delle passeggiate!
  N.B. Lucky è un bel cagnone adottato quando era un cucciolo di soli 2 mesi. Abituato a stare in famiglia, anche con i bambini, ma ha un bel carattere tenace ed è parecchio esuberante. Insomma, tira parecchio al guinzaglio :)

  Accommodation

  You will have your own room. Be aware that ther aren't shutters for light at the windows. So if you have problem to sleep with sun light I can arrange some curtains
  
  The bathroom is in common with me.
  
  If you have a van or your own tent there is plenty of space
  
  As my house is just renovated my kitchen is not fully equipped. (still missing the oven and a dishwasher) but of course there is all the necessary for cooking! (and plenty of spices from around the world)
  I'm vegetarian and I'll be happy to share my meals with you.

  What else ...

  If you are smokers I'll ask you to don't throw cigarette butts in the garden. There will be plenty of ashtrays for you! Not allowed to smoke inside the house.
  
  The location is ideal for those seeking tranquility and silence. You can explore the area on foot and venture into the woods. The village is within walking distance, but I can also provide bicycles. There, you'll find a couple of bars, a pharmacy, a bank, a bakery, and small village shops. Buses run to Cesena or Rimini.
  
  Se siete fumatori vi chiedo di non lasciare cicche di sigarette in giardino. Ci saranno tanti posacenere a disposizione. :)
  Non è consentito fumare in casa.
  
  Il luogo è ideale per chi cerca tranquillità e silenzio. Si può esplorare la zona a piedi ed addentrarsi nel bosco.
  Il paese è raggiungibile a piedi ma posso mettere a disposizione anche delle biciclette. Lì potete trovare un paio di bar, farmacia, banca, un forno e negozietti di paese.
  
  Ci sono degli autobus che vanno a Cesena o Rimini.
