  Description

  We are two nature lovers who live in a country land (1 hectare) in the countryside of Olmedo, a small village between Alghero and Sassari 13 km from the sea, we have three cuddly cats, 20 olive trees and as many fruit trees and other plants we planted to make this place as welcoming and harmonious as possible. We cultivate aromatic plants for the distillation of essential oils, we like cooking and eating good food. All of this needs to be taken care of, therefore sometimes we need a little bit of help.
  We practice different disciplines daily: Yoga, Taiji, meditation and energy work practices trying to give the best for our lives and other's too, nurturing our deepest and truest essence.
  We like to meet new people coming from all over the world and step outside of our routine.

  Due donne e una campagna... amanti della natura che vivono in un terreno (1 ettaro) nell'agro di Olmedo, un piccolo paese tra Alghero e Sassari a 13 Km dal mare, abbiamo tre gatti coccolosi, 20 Ulivi e altrettanti alberi da frutto ed altre piante che abbiamo piantato per rendere più armonico ed accogliente questo posto. Coltiviamo piante aromatiche per la distillazione di oli essenziali, ci piace cucinare e mangiare buon cibo genuino. Tutto ciò va curato per cui a volte abbiamo bisogno di aiuto, di una man forte per portare avanti il tutto.
  Pratichiamo quotidianamente diverse discipline: Yoga, Taiji, meditazione e pratiche energetiche cercando di dare il meglio per la nostra vita e quella degli altri, nutrendo la nostra essenza più profonda.
  Ci piace conoscere gente che viene da ogni dove per allargare le nostre conoscenze e uscire dal nostro spazio e tempo quotidiano.

  You can learn about the officinal plants of Sardinia, their properties and how to distill them, and outside of working hours, if you wish we can practice together olistic disciplines such as Taiji, Qi gong, medidation and other energy work practice to benefit both mind and body.

  Help

  Based on the season we will need help with pruning olive trees, collecting olives for the production of the house's olive oil. Other projects include: building small walls made of stone, a garage space, woodwork and general repairs and maintenance around the house. Taking care of the orchard, collect fruits, make jams and mostly all year round, we'll need help to collect flowers and plants to create essential oils, through distillation (May and July in particular are dedicated to the collection of Helichrysum and Lavander)
  Some volounteer work might include cleaning the rural streets or beaches from trash.

  Accommodation

  From October to April, you can stay in the little house that is usually rented out to tourists in the summer and from April/May to September, you will stay in a comfortable roulotte with kitchen appliances, electricity and outside toilet. If you prefer to camp outside (with a tent or you Caravan) you can do so, since the property is big enough.
  We provide all the food and we can have lunch together at the main house.
  We can also come and pick you up at the airport of ALGHERO (it's only 15 minutes away) if you are coming by plane. Or if you are coming with the trains or busses from any of the ferry terminals, we can come and pick you up in Sassari or Alghero or at the Olmedo train station.

  What else ...

  In your spare time you'll have the possibility to hop on a train and visit the nearby cities. The train station is 2,8 kilometers away from the house and we have bikes you can borrow. The beautiful city of Aghero is only 10 minutes away and from there you can also take busses to the most beautiful beaches of the island. If you are interested in Ancient History, Sardina offers a wide range of Archeological sites.
