  Description

  Hi we are Swedish / German family living on a small farm in the heart of Sweden. We love animals, nature and small scale organic farming. On the property live 5 horses, sheep, chickens, cats, 1 dog and me, Anna, Hauke( my husband ) and our 2 children Liora 7 and Vidar 9.
  Now in spring/ summer we need help with wood, hay harvest, gardening and the animals.
  We live in a small beautiful village, Molkom close to Karlstad.

  At our house you can learn a lot about small scale farming and animalcare. My husband and the children speak German/ english and I speak Swedish / english. I am also a ridingteacher and yogateacher. We thought the idea of hosting people is a good experience for us and grate for the kids to meet people from other countries, and we can also use an extra hand with things around the farm.

  Help

  We primary need help with wood, hayharvest, gardening and animalcare. There might be some household tasks like easy cleaning and cooking and we are not going to ask for a help with any kind of profitable activity.

  Accommodation

  We have a guest room inside the main house with room for 2 people. There is aldo a lot och room for camping och you could also sleep abow the stable. We eat together. Usually we have 2 cooked meals a day. Lunch and dinner. And we always eat breakfast and a ”evening fika”. We eat meat and sometimes vegetarian. We have a generally healthy way of eating and preferably locally grown and organic/ our own meat.

  What else ...

  On your days off you can visit Ängsbacka cafe, join yoga or dance workshops or take a sauna. You can go canoeing, paddleboarding, hiking in the forest or visit Karlstad. There are also grate places for swimming nearby.
