    Description

    Hello and Hej Hej
We are a young Swiss family who decided to escape the hustle and bustle and bring a little more peace and family time into our lives. We moved to southern Lapland in the summer of 2025 and will take over the campsite, where we already live, at the beginning of 2026.
We have three small children and want to fulfil our potential in our new home and workplace. There is always something going on with us and it certainly never gets boring. Our location, nature, the forest and the river that border the property provide peace and relaxation.

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

We have already tried to help people and learn and grow together with them in our "old life".
We would also like to continue this in our peaceful new life.

    This means that when someone comes to help us, they will receive one-on-one support;
they will learn that work, as well as targeted breaks and leisure time, are necessary to lead a balanced life.
Furthermore, the person will be fully integrated into family life with us.
Additionally, inputs, ideas, and advice can certainly be shared with us, allowing for more coffee to be enjoyed as well.

In this regard, we look forward to an interesting exchange and wonderful conversations,
where both sides can benefit from each other.

Also are there a lot to experience together in our surroundings. Here are a few examples:
    - Domestic railways are on our doorstep
    - Wildmarksvägen
    - Fishing
    - Berry picking
    - Mushroom picking
    - Forest walks
    - Campfires
    - Snowshoeing

    Help

Since we have just arrived and our heads are already spinning with all the things we would like to do, we are looking for various helping hands with different experiences.

Primary, we are looking for helping hands with manual skills to carry out various tasks, mainly involving wood. This includes sawing, sanding, screwing, nailing and sometimes painting. We need helping hands when we don't have enough to hold and/or measure something. Ideas are also welcome and can be contributed and/or integrated.

In the garden, we have many bushes, trees, and grass, all of which require some care and love, a wonderful task that does require a certain know-how, which we unfortunately do not yet have.
Here we could learn so much from a helper.

Amidst all the projects and work, there are also our children, who love to help and pitch in.
However, they should be allowed to be children and play. Perhaps there is also a helping hand who is not very handy but is child-friendly, enjoys spending time with children in nature, likes to cook, or does laundry?
Then the children can also benefit and learn new games and new dishes.

Since we are good at many things and complement each other well as a couple and family, we can handle a lot on our own, but we don't really have a clue about everything, and with all the projects and ideas, the days are just too short. Therefore, a helping hand can support us, contribute ideas, and certainly brighten up our everyday life. We like to have fun at work, so humor definitely won't be lacking.

In return, we offer board and lodging. We also offer free use of our infrastructure (vehicles, boats). You will be made to feel very welcome and treated as a member of the family.

    Other information:
You will not be involved in the day-to-day business of the campsite. We are looking for someone who can stay for at least 2 weeks or longer. Your working hours per day will be approx. 4-5 hours. You must cover your own travel costs to and from the campsite.

We look forward to hearing from you.
    Vi ses! Hej då!
