Description
We are Marcin and Paweł, and we run an agrotourism farm with horses in the Low Beskids (Beskid Niski) in southern Poland.
We live in a unique horse-loving village where, among around 130 inhabitants, there are more than 90 horses!
Our farm is home not only to horses, but also to goats, dogs, cats, and chickens.
On a daily basis, we organize recreational horse riding activities, multi-day horseback riding trips, and one-day horse excursions through the beautiful landscapes of the Beskid Niski mountains. We also take care of our guests, most often families with children, making sure they have a comfortable and memorable stay surrounded by nature and animals.
Our place is a peaceful, remote corner where people can slow down, connect with animals, enjoy outdoor activities, and experience rural life in Poland.

The kind of help we need changes depending on the season, so it is always best to ask us what tasks are currently needed.
We prefer volunteers who already have some experience with horses or other large animals. It is an even bigger advantage if you can ride, as especially in spring we need help with improving the fitness and condition of our horses after the winter break.
We can host one volunteer at a time or a couple. At the moment, we have one comfortable bedroom available for our volunteers in our home. -

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
I speak Polish, English (both fluent), some French and some Russian. The farm is situated in one of the most preserved Lemko villages in the region on the trial of wooden orthodox churches. I offer my services as a guide and some recommandation for the trips in the area. I'd love to share my experience in natural horsemanship and skiing as well as general skills in farming.

Help
I mostly need help from those who have at least a little experience with the horses, both taking care and riding. In the autumn there is a lot of tasks wth fire wood wich requires phisical strenght (we collect it in the forest barehand).

I got to live with Marcin and his animals in the wonderful mountains.
During that time, I was helping with the chickens, the goats, and the horses as well.
I was able to have a good morning routine - it was never boring.
