My name is Finn and I’m a 25 year old traveller from London. I am new to Workaway and I’m super excited to start looking for opportunities to learn new skills and meet some fascinating people! Here’s a little bit about myself:
I work as the manager of a small pub in North London having finished my History degree at the University of Manchester. I am an avid traveller and am constantly fascinated by every new place I go. I am looking for an authentic experience of cultural and work exchange. I am easy-going, flexible and willing to get stuck in any way I can! I am also extremely eager to get started with the volunteering/work aspect of workaway and learn some great new skills. I am a quick and independent learner, physically up for any laborious challenges and very excited about the prospect at working in the outdoors or with animals. I have worked the last few years in the hospitality industry so also have experience with cooking and serving. Ultimately, I’m really just looking to meet some great, like-minded people while getting an authentic experience of whatever country I’m in, I’m more than happy to work 5 days a week and am only looking do accommodation in exchange. More details about my language interests
I am deeply interested in languages, particularly the history of various info-European languages and the etymological links to my own language. I have taught children from 4-12 and believe I would be a great English teacher, and I aim to try and learn as much as I can about any language my host speaks.

I am a 6ft tall, broad and relatively strong guy so I could definitely offer physical labour to any farming work. I have worked with children and animals during summer camps at various schools across London. I also work in the hospitality industry, working as a manager in a London pub where I’ve not only gained expertise at customer service but also problem solving and independence. I also love the outdoors so will thrive in any messy environment!

I love hiking and exploring rural villages so would love to spend any free time finding out the best local spots to adventure through. I also love learning about the history of different regions and any interesting little details about your home.
