Details
 - Description- I'm retired. Antarctic expeditioner. I have travelled the world and lived and worked in deserts and Antarctica and many other places. Now I live a very pioneer-off-the-grid lifestyle in a forest I have built. The forest is 50 acres, cool temperate. Has all the main Tassie animals calling it home. Devils, quolls, birds, frogs, bettongs, bandicoots, and so on. The farm is off-grid, so we produce our own timber, food, water, power, and so on. Things to see in the local area. Mount Field National Park (including waterfalls and glowworms, mountain caves, Tasmania's tallest tree forest, Salmon Ponds, the Southern Hemisphere's oldest hatchery, trout fishing, and many hikes and trails in the local area)

 - Cultural exchange and learning opportunities- The skills I can pass on. How to build a farm system in an off-grid pioneer fashion. Learn how to choose trees and turn them into usable timber to be used in buildings or on the farm. How to grow food in a cool temperate sandstone landscape. How to collect water and move it around on a mountain landscape. I can teach people how to look after chickens and bees. Also during the warmer months, honey collection. Teach people how they can read a forest and care for the animals and plants that live within it. The world is full of knowledge, so always be willing to hear other people's ideas.
