Description
Hi!
We are Alexia and Laurent, a Belgian family living in the Algarve with our two sons, a dog, and a few horses. During the high season we run the guest house, but in winter we take a well‑deserved break — and we love having friendly company around!
This winter we’re looking for couples to stay with us in exchange for a cozy, fully‑equipped house, ideally helping out with gardening, painting, and light maintenance around the resort.
A little about the place:
Our 250‑year‑old estate spans 27,000 m² inside the UNESCO‑protected Ria Formosa Natural Park, surrounded by fragrant gardens, fruit trees, vegetable plots, aromatic herbs and wildlife
We have seven unique holiday houses, each with its own entrance, private patio or roof terrace, fully equipped kitchenette, air‑conditioning, free WiFi, smart TV, Bluetooth sound system, books, games – and even complimentary tea and coffee
Facilities include two fenced swimming pools, a natural swimming lake with a mini‑beach, a half‑court for basketball/football, play structures, and indoor play area, ideal for family stays
An inhabited house is always better than an empty one — it brings life to the place, and helps us maintain the gardens and buildings. If you can join us this winter — whether from November to March — we’d love to hear from you!

We are a cosy Belgian family with two boys, and know Portugal very well. We do a lot of sports and love animals and nature. Healthy food and water activities are very high on our list

It's a magical place and Portugal is so beautiful in the winter time ! We are pretty flexible and can help with many different aspects. Good communication is key.
