We loved having Laura to stay! She was brilliant to have around and very helpful with everything. Also she was so kind with our kids. We miss you Laura and I hope you come back to see us soon. xx

I stayed with Rebecca and her family for six weeks and I had a wonderful time. They are a very loving and welcoming family and welcomed me with open arms. The kids are very sweet and super fun to play with. Eventhough I did not stay for a very long time I felt like a part of the family really quickly and will definitely miss them. The jobs I had

There are not enough words in the world to describe what a good time we had with Rebecca, Heron and the kids. They are a beautiful, messy family and getting to be part of their world for a while was a very enriching experience. The "work" we did was really easy, feeding the animals, walking the dogs, cleaning up a bit and our favourite task:
… read more baking and cooking sometimes. In exchange we got introduced to a lot of new music and movies (all classics that needed to be watched, of course), got treated with really good food and just in general enjoyed living with this wild mix of fun and open people. Each family member has a special place in our heart now and we will definitely come back to visit them. We can really recommend coming here, especially if you love pets, children, chatting and family live.
Thank you guys so much for this unforgettable time! You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.

Katinka is the BEST! Luckily for us she cam for a few months before Christmas and then decided to come back after and is going to return again in a month or so. She is now a great friend and brilliant fun to have around. She helped lots around the house and with the kids and also rode with them.

Audrey and Janne arrived after a not-so-good experience elsewhere. They proved to be wonderful to have with us! The kids adored them and they played endless games, they did loads of brilliant organizing and other projects for us and were efficient and good at making independent decisions. Also they were great company and very easy to have around.

The time here was one of the best of my life!
Rebecca and Heron rescued me and another girl from a terrible host. I can't tell, how grateful I was to them for that! It was so great with them that I extended my stay, which was planned for three weeks, to two months. They are incredibly friendly and fun people, always have an open ear and good

The kids are very playful, especially when you do the "swing" - that even topped the "knock game". In the morning we prepared the children's school bags and fed the animals. After that, there was either a lot of free time until they came back from school or we cleaned up some rooms (which, to be honest, was really fun!).
We often went horseback riding (with a big horse and a small pony. My companion was small enough to even go hunting on it ;)).
In the evening we sometimes put the kids to bed, but Rebecca and Heron usually did that.
We were taken to all kinds of events and places and were able to see a lot of Ireland and the culture.
Every other weekend friends of Rebecca and Heron were there and filled the big house with life. The closest town seems small, but you meet a lot of friendly and chatty people and make new friends very quickly. I recommend this place to anyone who loves having people around - that was the case for me and it was just fantastic. When we said goodbye, I actually had to hold back the tears very hard.
I miss you and hope to visit you again soon,

Lena and Merle were so lovely to have around. They were super helpful in organizing the disaster that was the kids' playroom and doing other things around the house and garden. But mostly they were amazingly good with my kids - very sweet, patient and endlessly playful. The kids warmed to them immediately and have been asking when they are coming
… read more back ever since! Their english is excellent too so it was very easy to communitcate as my German is non-existent. I hope they have an amazing rest of the year and lots of adventures and that they will come back to visit us when next in Ireland.

We were supposed to stay at a different host in Ireland, but he canceled on us last minute which turned out to be the best thing that could have happened to us. Rebecca and her family took us in and we really had the best time. They are super kind and welcoming and made us feel at home from the first day on. The kids are lovely and it's very fun
… read more to have them around, but watch out, once you start playing the "knock game" they won't be able to stop :D. We enjoyed our time very much and even the work was fun. We definitely want to come back and we miss you all <3
P.s. Rebecca is a really great cook and we enjoyed all the food she made especially for us, because we are vegetarian. Thank you!You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.
