    Description

    Hello there!
My name is Nicole, I live in the beautiful countryside south of Gothenburg and only a stone's throw from the sea. I live in a house in quiet surroundings and have endless ongoing projects around both the house and garden. I am an avid traveller, nature enthusiast and have recently become a yoga instructor.
I have three lovely daughters who are all residing outside of Sweden. I live alone and work irregular hours which means that you will be alone in the house when I am working or busy. This leaves me in need of some assistance :)

Living in the Swedish countryside you'll get a nice opportunity to live in a peaceful community. You will be surrounded by the ocean, cliffs and beautiful nature. There a lovely walks and I can show you some beautiful places.
We can make a bonfire and grill some veggie sausages and talk about Swedish life/ culture
I speak Swedish, English, French and German all fluently so if you' like to practice or feel more comfortable conversing in any of those I'd be happy to.

    Help

I have many projects around the house. According to your skills and preferences there will be lighter tasks to fulfill such as weeding, some painting and cleaning .

You are a calm person who doesn't mind getting your hands dirty and have a good working attitude and a keen eye for detail. I am vegetarian but eat fish occasionally. Preferably you are vegetarian too.
I don't live on a farm but in a house in the countryside.
    15 hrs work/week.

    Accommodation

You'll have your own spacious room, with a double bed that is located on the ground floor by the entrance. You'll have your private toilet on the first floor and a shared shower.
There's also a pool and sundeck you are welcome to use anytime.

You have access to a bicycle which you can use any time you like. The bus station is a 10 minute bicycle ride from the house and from there it's
about 25 min by bus to Kungsbacka and 1 hour to Gothenburg.

Food and meals are not included. But occasionally it would be nice to prepare a meal together.

  • What else ...

    What else ...

I live on a peninsula which has many coves and swimming spots to discover. All of these clear water areas are reachable by walk or bicycle.
Kungsbacka is the closest town which has shopping malls, restaurants & cute cafes and is definitely worth a visit during your stay. There are regular buses running to and from Kungsbacka (25 minutes).
When I'm not working I'm usually pottering around the garden, going on walks through the forest, picking berries, practicing yoga or dancing Kizomba.
In my garden I've got a range of berries and rhubarb you are welcome to pick when seasonal. There are also plenty of spots nearby where you can find endless blueberries, blackberries & mushrooms (around August typically).
