    Description

    Hi!

I’m Tanya, a single mum living in La Seu d’Urgell with my little boy, Kai. I’m looking for someone kind, reliable and easygoing to join our home for a while and become part of our daily life.

La Seu is a wonderful place if you enjoy nature and outdoor life. We are surrounded by mountains, rivers and endless hiking and cycling trails, and Andorra is only a 15-minute drive away. Whether you like skiing, climbing, mountain biking, or simply relaxing in a charming Catalan town with cafés and local markets, there’s plenty to enjoy here.

I’m originally from Málaga but have lived in Andorra and this area for many years. I speak English, Spanish, Catalan and French, so you’ll have plenty of opportunities to practise languages if you’d like.

Living with us is a chance to experience everyday life in the Catalan Pyrenees. La Seu d’Urgell is a beautiful mountain town with a relaxed lifestyle, local markets, cafés, festivals and easy access to nature. Andorra is only 15 minutes away, offering even more opportunities for shopping, skiing and outdoor activities.

As I speak English, Spanish, Catalan and French, you’ll have the opportunity to practise languages in a natural, everyday setting. I’m always happy to help if you’re learning any of them.

I enjoy cooking, spending time outdoors, hiking, travelling and learning about different cultures, so I’d love to exchange experiences, recipes and traditions with you. I believe cultural exchange goes both ways, and I’m genuinely interested in learning about your country, your language and your way of life as well.

My hope is that you’ll leave not only having discovered this beautiful part of Spain, but also feeling like you’ve been part of our little family.

    Help

I’m looking for someone to become part of our daily routine and lend a hand with everyday life rather than someone to work as a full-time nanny or housekeeper.

The main help I need is with Kai a few days each week. This could include taking him to and/or picking him up from nursery, playing with him, taking him to the park or simply keeping him company while I’m working.

I’d also appreciate some help with light household tasks such as keeping shared spaces tidy, doing a load of laundry, loading or unloading the dishwasher, or helping prepare simple meals from time to time. I’m definitely not expecting deep cleaning or heavy housework.

I work as a nurse and also travel occasionally for international sporting events, so there may be days when I need a little more support and other days when you’ll have much more free time. I value flexibility, and I’ll always do my best to be flexible in return.

Above all, I’m looking for someone who is warm, responsible, independent and genuinely enjoys spending time with children. Mutual respect, kindness and open communication are the most important things to me.
