    Description

    Tate is a basque Architect & Landscape Architect who studied & taught at the legendary "École de Genève", an alternative Architecture School at the University of Geneva (SWITZERLAND).

    After a decade in Switzerland, she founded : A Site | Art | Landscape & Film | Experimental Research STUDIO based in The Cliffs House where she grew up in the BASQUE COAST.

    As a co-creator , she participated in various projects to preserve Seaside Landscapes becoming one of the characters in the TVE documentary series "Red Natura" while exploring & guiding paddle-surf trips in Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve (BASQUE COAST).

    She's now restoring, in the GALICIAN COAST (SPAIN), a family ARTIST HOME by THE SEA in her ancestral lands as a RURAL SEASIDE REFUGE situated in a beautiful little village in the Countryside of the Galician Finisterrae Lands (SPAIN).

    *As we are not offering food, we are not requesting more than 15 hours help a week (3 hours per day, 5 days a week).

    TATE's Rural Refuge by the Sea is situated in a beautiful little coutryside village facing one of the most beautiful and Natural Estuaries in the "Rías Baixas" of Atlantic Galicia. The charming rural village is located on a hill next to the "Camino" of Santiago towards Cape Finisterre; Pilgrimage to the End of the World.

    10 mins walk from Artist Rural House to magical desert Beaches. / 8 mins car ride to one of most well preserved Seaside Towns of Fishermen in Galicia. / 15 mins car ride to Wild Surf Beaches. / 45 mins car ride to Santiago de Compostela City & Airport. / 50 mins car ride to the End of the World in Finisterre.
