Description
Living with and from nature, Permaculture is our focus. Speaking 3 languages (Latvian, German, English) . We love Kids (we have Lukas 16 and Elina 9 (old) ) and yours (if so) are always welcome. We have 2 dogs, 2 cats, chickens too. We have 3 Ha Farmland and garden and Forest. In the house and barns are always something to do (Renovating, and more) The woods have to be cleaned up and there are some trees to be cut also.
If You like Ecological buildings, here is the right place.
We have a garden with potatoes, salad, fruits and much more( in summer). Guests will have their own room (Winter) or in Summer in our hay hotel where you can sleep with your sleeping bag.
In May (21st -28th) and August (20th-27thI) we will run a Permaculture Desing course and for this we need 3...4 Volunteers who are ready to be part of out Team and help in the kitchen, or take care of the participants, in frre time you are able to participate the course.
We had already Volunteers from : Brazil, Venezuela, USA, France, Denmark, Romania, Spain, Germany, Netherlands, Finland, Russia, Austria, Swiss and England. So you are also very welcome! More than 145 were on our Spot. Please see the Feedback we received ....

We will be happy to include couples or families - women (and children) do the lighter work or help in the garden.

We have a house, barns, a huge garden and a Sauna house, in Spring we will get more animals, so there is always something to renovate, repair or create.

the next town Smiltene is 6 km away. We have a canoe for the nearby lake, bikes and some tents our guest can use!
In Latvia it is very common to buy clothes from a second hand shop. We have a lot of them. Very cheap and very good quality. Close to 100% of our Volunteer use them to buy stuff. So you have not to bring everything with you.
We also have Sauna house that we use all regularly.
We like to integrate the Volunteers into family life!!! This is important for us.
