    We are Federico and Silavana, living in a forming eco-village in the rural area of San Pedro, 20 km from Colonia del Sacramento.

    The place we inhabit is surrounded by forest and river, with abundant native and exotic vegetation.

    Help

    We are looking for volunteers interested in helping with maintenance, bioconstruction, and gardening in a natural environment. Activities may include building with natural materials, caring for and improving the forest, planting and maintaining the garden, as well as small repairs and improvements in the space.

    We will share knowledge on bioconstruction techniques, permaculture, and sustainable living. We enjoy exchanging experiences and learning together.

    During their free time, volunteers can explore the forest, go fishing, take kayak trips, or enjoy the river and nearby beach.

    Buscamos voluntarios/as interesados en ayudar con tareas de mantenimiento, bioconstrucción y huerta en un entorno natural. Las actividades pueden incluir construcción con materiales naturales, cuidado y mejora del bosque, plantación y mantenimiento de huerta, así como pequeñas reparaciones y mejoras en el espacio.

    Compartiremos conocimientos en técnicas de bioconstrucción, permacultura y vida sostenible. Nos gusta intercambiar experiencias y aprender juntos. Durante los momentos libres, los voluntarios pueden explorar el bosque, pescar, hacer paseos en kayak o disfrutar del río y la playa cercana.

    Accommodation

    We offer accommodation in a camper located in a natural environment, surrounded by forest and near the river. The camper provides a comfortable and safe space to sleep and store belongings.

    Volunteers have access to basic kitchen utensils, electricity, and drinking water, where they can prepare their own meals. We provide food and basic ingredients so each volunteer can cook according to their preferences.

    The bathroom is dry and eco-friendly, and a shower is available.

    This place is ideal for those who enjoy tranquility, outdoor living, and a deep connection with nature.

    Ofrecemos alojamiento en una casa rodante ubicada en un entorno natural, rodeado de bosque y cerca del río. La casa rodante cuenta con un espacio cómodo y seguro para dormir y almacenar pertenencias.

    Los voluntarios tienen acceso a utensilios de cocina básicos, electricidad y agua potable, donde pueden preparar sus propias comidas. Proveemos alimentos e ingredientes básicos para que cada voluntario cocine según sus preferencias.

    El baño es seco y ecológico, y hay una ducha disponible.

    El lugar es ideal para quienes disfrutan de la tranquilidad, la vida al aire libre y la conexión con la naturaleza.

    In their free time, volunteers can explore the forest, relax by the stream, go fishing, take kayak trips, or enjoy the beach and the river. It is also a great place for birdwatching and nature photography.

    Regarding transportation, we are located 6 km from the nearest bus stop and 20 km from Colonia del Sacramento. We frequently travel to the city, so we can coordinate rides on those days.

    Our lifestyle is peaceful and in harmony with nature. We promote an environment of respect, cooperation, and care for the space. We ask volunteers to keep shared areas clean and organized and to use resources like water and electricity consciously.

    We are open to welcoming people with a positive and collaborative mindset, willing to learn and share a meaningful experience.

    En su tiempo libre, los voluntarios pueden explorar el bosque, relajarse junto al arroyo, pescar, hacer paseos en kayak o disfrutar de la playa y el río. También es un buen lugar para la observación de aves y la fotografía de naturaleza.

    En cuanto al transporte, estamos ubicados a *6 km de la parada de buses más cercana y a 20 km de Colonia del Sacramento. Viajamos a la ciudad con frecuencia, por lo que podemos coordinar traslados en esos días.

    Nuestro estilo de vida es tranquilo y en armonía con la naturaleza. Fomentamos un ambiente de respeto, cooperación y cuidado del espacio. Pedimos a los voluntarios que mantengan los espacios limpios y ordenados y que usen los recursos, como agua y electricidad, de manera consciente.
