  My name is Sebastian, I'm 35 years old, and I'm a lifeguard. I've done a lot of volunteer work here on Workaway in the past, and it was an amazing experience!
  
  Now I’m living with my partner, Leticia, who is 34 years old. She is a psychologist, loves animals, and is currently learning programming. We are opening our home together to volunteers, as a shared project.
  
  We have a house in Cordón, Montevideo, Uruguay.
  
  Our house is on Eduardo Víctor Haedo Street, in a central location very close to Parque Rodó, the waterfront promenade (Rambla), and several bus lines that connect to the entire city. It’s a safe, quiet neighborhood surrounded by all kinds of amenities: supermarkets, bakeries, gyms, restaurants, markets, and local shops. It’s also just 100 meters from a beautiful plaza, Plaza Liber Sereñi, and a cultural center.
  We think the neighborhood is perfect for anyone who wants to explore Montevideo on foot: we're close to the Old City, the Port Market (Mercado del Puerto), Parque Rodó, the Tres Cruces shopping terminal, the Rambla, and many other tourist and cultural attractions.
  The house has unlimited high-speed internet, ideal for digital nomads or people who need to work or study.

  Leticia can share knowledge about psychology, wellbeing, and she loves talking about animals. She is learning programming, so she’s always happy to study or practice together with volunteers.

  Mi nombre es Sebastian, tengo 35 años y soy guardavidas. En el pasado trabajé mucho como voluntario aquí en Workaway y fue una experiencia increíble.
  
  Actualmente vivo con mi pareja, Leticia, que tiene 34 años. Es psicóloga, le encantan los animales y está aprendiendo programación. Estamos abriendo nuestra casa como un proyecto en pareja para recibir voluntarios.
  
  Tenemos una casa en el barrio Cordón, Montevideo, Uruguay.
  
  Nuestra casa está en la calle Eduardo Víctor Haedo, en una zona céntrica, muy cerca del Parque Rodó, de la rambla y de varias líneas de transporte que conectan con toda la ciudad. Es un barrio seguro, tranquilo y rodeado de servicios: supermercados, panaderías, gimnasios, restaurantes, ferias y todo tipo de comercios.
  Además, a solo 100 metros está la Plaza Liber Sereñi y un centro cultural.
  Creemos que el barrio es perfecto para quien quiera explorar Montevideo caminando: estamos cerca de la Ciudad Vieja, el Mercado del Puerto, el Parque Rodó, el centro comercial Tres Cruces, la rambla y muchos otros puntos culturales y turísticos.
  La casa cuenta con internet de alta velocidad sin límite, ideal para quienes trabajan o estudian en línea.

  We will paint wood, walls, and more.
  This includes sanding, preparing surfaces, applying sealant or primer, and then painting.
  Sanding (wood and walls)
  We will sand boards, frames, and any areas that need preparation before painting.
  This may involve manual sanding or using simple electric sanders.
  General house repairs and improvements
  We will carry out different maintenance tasks, such as:
  Filling small holes
  Basic wall repairs
  Applying sealant
  Organizing materials
  Helping with light construction tasks
  Cleaning and outdoor maintenance
  We will clean the outdoor area and keep the space tidy.

Lijado (madera y paredes) Lijaremos tablas, marcos y sectores que necesiten preparación antes de pintar. Puede ser lijado manual o con herramientas eléctricas simples.   English We can host workawayers traveling in campervans. There is space to park a van in front of the house, and the neighborhood is safe and quiet. While there is no private parking on the property, street parking is available and commonly used in this area. Español Podemos recibir workawayers que viajen en campervans. Hay espacio para estacionar una van frente a la casa, y el barrio es seguro y tranquilo. Si bien no tenemos estacionamiento privado dentro de la propiedad, el estacionamiento en la calle es común y seguro en esta zona.

  Can possibly accept pets

  English We can accept some pets, mainly small and friendly animals. Leticia loves animals, so we are open to discussing each case. However, we cannot host aggressive pets or animals that may damage the house. Español Podemos aceptar algunas mascotas, principalmente animales pequeños y tranquilos. A Leticia le encantan los animales, así que estamos abiertos a conversar cada caso. Sin embargo, no podemos recibir mascotas agresivas ni animales que puedan dañar la casa.
