    Description

Hello and welcome to our little corner of Tuscany! ☀️

We’re a family running a hotel in Radda in Chianti, surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and beautiful rolling hills. Just 100 metres from the hotel, we also run a small bar where travellers and local residents come together. We produce our own organic olive oil and wine, too!

We do a lot, as you can read, but we are just three people and that’s why we’re here 😂

What we love most about our work is welcoming people and sharing the place we call home. The hotel welcomes guests from all over the world, while the bar is a lovely meeting point for the local community. Joining us means getting to know both sides of life in Chianti!

For the summer 2027 season, from May 1st to October 30th, we’re looking for one or two friendly, reliable people to join our team for at least one month. Availability in July, August and September is especially appreciated.

Depending on your interests, you could help at the bar with serving food and drinks and welcoming customers, or at the hotel with breakfast service, occasional room cleaning and small dinners organised by reservation. You can also combine the two. No previous hospitality experience is required; good English and a willingness to learn are what matter most. Italian is welcome, but not essential!

Accommodation is above the bar, in a cosy bedroom overlooking the Chianti hills and vineyards, with a private bathroom and kitchen. Food arrangements can be discussed if needed, and you’re welcome to enjoy the hotel’s swimming pool during your free time.

Outside of helping us, you can discover the countryside, practise Italian, make friends with local people or simply relax by the pool. Radda in Chianti is about 1 km away, and a bus stop just 50 metres from the bar provides connections for exploring the surrounding area.

We’d love to hear a little about you, your availability and whether you’re interested in part-time or full-time help. We’re happy to arrange a video call, and get to know each other.

You will also meet our lovely dog Betty, and two cats 🐈

We look forward to sharing a Tuscan summer with you! 🌿

    Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

Staying with us is a chance to experience everyday life in Tuscany and get to know the people who call Chianti home!

Our small bar brings together local residents and travellers. Through everyday conversations, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to practise Italian, make friends and discover local customs. At the hotel, you’ll also meet guests from around the world and hear their stories.

We usually have lunch together, so there’s time to chat, share stories and get to know each other around the table! My mum is an excellent cook, and you’ll also have the chance to learn about Italian cooking, discover family recipes and pick up some of her kitchen secrets.

We’re happy to share what we know about hospitality, running a small family business, and the organic wine and olive oil we produce. You can learn practical skills such as preparing Italian breakfasts, serving drinks and making guests feel welcome.

Tuscany is at the heart of the language, literature, history and culture that helped shape Italy. Staying here offers a wonderful opportunity to explore that heritage, from nearby villages to cities such as Florence and Siena, through their art, architecture and traditions. We’ll gladly share our favourite places and tips for getting to know the area.

We’re also curious about you! We’d love to learn about your country, language, food and traditions. For us, cultural exchange means sharing stories, learning from each other and making you feel part of our small family. 🌿

We’re looking for one or two friendly, reliable people to help at our small bar and family-run hotel during summer 2027!

🍹 At the bar, you’ll help welcome customers, take orders, serve drinks and food, clear tables and keep the space clean and welcoming.

🏡 At the hotel, you’ll help prepare and serve breakfast, tidy up afterwards, occasionally clean guest rooms or assist with small dinners organised by reservation.

You can help mainly at the bar, at the hotel or combine the two, depending on your preferences and our needs. No previous hospitality experience is required: we’ll show you how everything works! Good English, reliability and a willingness to learn are what matter most. Italian is a plus, but is not necessary

    We offer two options:

    • Full-time: 40 hours per week, with Sundays and Mondays off. Food and accommodation provided, plus €800 per month.

    • Part-time: 20–25 hours per week. Food and accommodation provided, plus €450 per month. Helping days and time off will be agreed before your arrival.

Accommodation is above the bar, in a cosy bedroom overlooking the Chianti hills and vineyards, with a private bathroom and kitchen. You can also enjoy the hotel’s swimming pool during your free time!

Our season runs from May 1st to October 30th, 2027. We ask for a minimum stay of one month, and availability during July, August and September is especially appreciated.

Please tell us a little about yourself, your availability and which option interests you. We’d be happy to arrange a video call to get to know each other!
