Absolutely stunning property and surrounding area that let me truly appreciate the Czech landscape and scenery! Anna is now one of my closest friends, what a caring and fun person to be around. This was my first workaway experience but I couldn't have asked for a better atmosphere and family to work with and learn about Czech culture and history

The surrounding area is full of beautiful old volcanic "mountains" littered with castle ruins which are amazing to explore and climb to see the stunning sunrises and sunsets especially in Autumn.
Anna and her parents were amazing and very generous hosts. I never had a shortage of food or drink and any need was looked after. During my stay I learned about the land and the many deer that populated the area and the private reserve. I was lucky enough to learn about some of the butchering and processing of deer. I also learned how to make excellent fresh apple juice and apple cider "suicider" ;p. But mostly it was a great time just to be around nature and working with such a great person which made every day extremely enjoyable. We were able to cut, chop and stack quite a lot of wood for the wood stoves which was a good physical job but was always rewarded with a beautifully home cooked meal and a pint or two with a very friendly and charming family. I can't thank them enough for their generosity and hospitality and I look forward to meeting again one day!You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.

Josh stayed with me for a month, during which we were mainly preparing wood for winter. He was great help, especially when it came to hard physical work and lifting that I couldn't do myself. He can definitely pull his weight. He's reliable, independent and very easy going. I had to leave for a week, during which he looked after my 3 horses. We

I had one of my best Workaway experiences at this beautiful farm of Anna and her parents. Every single moment was very enjoyable and felt special; the work in the forest, gardening, going together on a hike or some trip. Mostly we worked together, so there was always somebody to share a joke or a funny story with. The physically hard work was

Wolf is a very cheerful and friendly guy, always in a good mood. During his stay he mainly helped me with preparing wood for winter and some garden work. He can use the chainsaw very well and physical work doesn't faze him. Wolf is a very social person that seeks connections with people and has knowledge just about anything, so you can have very

Simon is a very nice easy going guy. He stayed with us only for one week, but fit into our way of living and working straight away. He helped us with picking apples and making apple juice and he even helped me over-time when I really needed it. After work we’d enjoy some beer and chats, it was nice to hear about Simons travels in his van and learn
