Description
We are an italo-colombian couple starting a nice project: an Hostel located on one of the most beautiful beaches of the Pacific Coast of Colombia: El Almejal beach in El Valle, a small town near Bahia Solano. The hostel lies right between the jungle and the incredibly beautiful Pacific Ocean. You can therefore walk right on to the beach directly in front of the hostel or enjoy the local flora and fauna in the jungle with a tour. We have areas to rest and relax where the sounds (and view!) of the ocean and jungle meet each other, creating an incredible experience. In The House you can use a fully furnished kitchen to cook your own food
Somos una pareja italo-colombiana empezando un lindo proyecto: un Hostel ubicado en una de las más hermosas playas del Pacifico Colombiano: La Playa el Almejal en el corregimiento el Valle, Bahia solano, Chocó. Nuestro alojamiento está construido entre la selva y el increíble mar pacifico, dando a nuestros huéspedes la mejor experiencia de estadía y el disfrute de la fauna y flora regional. Contamos con zonas de descanso y relajación desde donde se puede observar el mar y al mismo tiempo estar inmerso en la selva con el sonido de los pájaros y de más animales. En The House estará a su disposición una cocina muy bien dotada, una biblioteca y un bar para mejorar su experiencia de estadía.

We can offer you a bed in a share dorm and one meal a day. You can learn a lot of things about the local culture and nature. In your free time you can join us for tours through the jungle and enjoy spending time with our beloved animals. Since now is whale and turtle season (whale: july- october, turtle: august - december) you can whatch the whales from our hostel during the day and go and search for turtles during the night.

What else ...
Unfortunately El Valle is a little bit tricky to get to. You can either fly from Medellin or Cali to Bahia Solano and take a TuckTuck to El Valle which takes about 45 minutes or you can do it the adventureous way and come by boat (every tuesday and saturday) from Buenaventura also to Bahia Solano.
