Description
Hi Guys, Efe Here.
I am a permaculture designer and have been here for 3 years. I designed and built a this place from scratch but it is always an ongoing process of course. So, still a lot to do and ways to go...
Here, in Milas/Muğla, it is a 90.000 sqm, totally Off-Grid, Mediterranean Permaculture Farm, consisting mainly of Olive trees (1200 of them), and a lot more of course. Premium olive oil production is my priority and income. Vegetable garden, green house and such are simply for well being, eating and drinking nicely.
Farm is located about 25 minutes from the airport and 15 minutes from the bus station and the town.
I am totally off grid, about a km near the village. I use spring water that is within the farm and Solar Power for energy.Types of help and learning opportunities

Well, what you can learn and experience here:
Priciples of permaculture design, all about olives-olive trees-olive oil, since that is my primary business. Since mediterrenanean climate is unique, we design everything around its limitations. Water management, choosing plants accordingly, Vegetable and fruit growing. All types of Trees and plants really interest me. I have a fair collection I would say. I started producing my own food tlast couple of years. We will be taking care of that, both the greenhouse (55 sqm) and the vegetable garden (250 sqm). I am hot composting these days, working on new ways to improve soil, researching food production & preservation.
There are always ways to improve and learn. I would share any info I have with you and I will sincerely be appreciating any know how and experience you are willing to share. In the end, we are all after that I guess.
P.S. always lets assume that we should have a trial period for a few days (3-5 days) to see if are on the same page and have a similar vision.Help
I assume we have a general understanding about how farms work. Normally I have one employee however he will be in his hometown for a bit.
There is work with vegetable garden, greenhouse, general maintanence (as in there are places to fix, clean, organize, move stuff back forward). I would appreciate some help around the house, maybe cooking sometimes. Helping hours will depend on weather and what needs to be done. I assume you get the idea. please feel free to ask anything.Languages

I have spent a little time in South and Central America. However never got to a good level in Spanish. Interested in that but also wouldn't mind learning a bit of other languages.Accommodation
There are a few options regarding accomodation. Normally, I have one employee but at the moment he is in his hometown for a couple of months. There is a container house with one room and a double bed.
Also I have a couple of tents (two and three person). Inflatable beds as well. Where we set them up, we can decide together.
Summers are hot. Outdoor showers with a hose possible. but of course There is a shower in the container as well as a bathroom/toilet.
I will be providing all the the food we need. There are no strict rules. Depending on the day, I can cook, you can cook for yourselves. Vegetable garden gives us some food too of course.
If possible, I can try to pick you up depending where you will arrive. Worst case, I will always help you with directions and stuff. What else ...
I have internet (20 mbit), both around the hut and the container.
Your spare time, what you do is totally up to you. There are many ancient cities around. Possible to get to the seaside with a little daytrip. we can always arrange transport to the bus station or at least to the village. Milas center, marketplace is quite oldscool that I find interesting.A little more information

He kindly share 2,3 meals everyday with fresh vegetables from the garden which we really appreciate. I wish you all the best:)
I believe we got along quite well and enjoyed the time helping each other. They still have a long journey ahead.
