  I am Daniel, living and caring for nature on our farm, in Guarne, Antioquia, Colombia. The farm is a little natural reserve that cares for and increases its biodiversity. Humid mountain forest climate at 2300 meters above sea level. Special for those who like wild nature and rustic workshops.
  
  Soy Daniel, viviendo y cuidando de la naturaleza en nuestra finca, en Guarne, Antioquia, Colombia. La finca es una pequeña reserva natural que busca cuidar y aumentar su biodiversidad. Clima de bosque de montaña húmeda a 2300 metros sobre el nivel del mar. Especial para los que gusten de la naturaleza silvestre y los talleres rústicos.

  Cultural exchange and learning opportunities

  Travelers will be able to enjoy a quiet space in the nature of the mountain, have a cultural exchange and learn about the local ecology.
  
  Los viajeros podrán disfrutar de un espacio tranquilo en la naturaleza de la montaña, realizar un intercambio cultural y aprender de la ecología local.

  Help

  We would love to receive help in the work of maintenance and care of the humid montane forest within the farm; we usually require weeding around trees and on trails, and control invasive species (especially the vine called Ojo de Poeta). Sometimes it also helps to build small structures and plugins.
  
  Nos encantaría recibir ayuda en el trabajo de mantenimiento y cuidado del bosque húmedo montano dentro de la finca; usualmente requerimos de deshierbar alrededor de árboles y en senderos, y controlar especies invasoras (especialmente la enredadera llamada Ojo de Poeta). A veces también ayuda para construir pequeñas estructuras y complementos.

  Accommodation

  Volunteers will stay in the same house with the host but in a separated private room for one or two people. We cook traditional local homemade food but we adapt to the needs of workawayers. At the moment we do not admit volunteers for a period longer than one week. We prefer to host a single volunteer. We can cook all or one or the other as we agree and it suits us.
  
  Los voluntarios se alojarán en la misma casa que los anfitriones pero en cuarto separado privado para una o dos personas. Por el momento no admitimos voluntarios por periodo mayor a una semana. Preferimos alojar un solo voluntario.
  
  Cocinamos comida tradicional casera local pero nos adaptamos a las necesidades de los workawayers. Podemos cocinar todos o los unos o los otros según acordemos y nos convenga.

  What else ...

  Walking calmly along the natural trails of the farm is one of the best activities that can be done within the farm, also meditate, do yoga, eat at home or in the kiosk... You can take walks from the farm to different cultural or natural sites. We are at 6km to the Arví park. We have public transport and proximity to other towns of interest.
  
  Caminar en calma por los senderos naturales de la finca es de las mejores actividades que se pueden realizar dentro de la finca, también meditar, hacer yoga, comer en la casa o en el kiosko... Se pueden hacer caminatas desde la finca hacia diferentes parajes culturales o naturales. Estamos a 6km del parque Arví. Contamos con transporte público y cercanía con otros pueblos de interés.
