Welcome to our little Cat Sanctuary in the southern part of Croatia, we are a few minutes off the beautiful coast of the Adriatic sea nestled in a 5 acre Olive Grove
The heart and soul of our property is our cat sanctuary, where we provide a safe, loving home for rescued, injured and abandoned cats and kittens
My Husband and I live in the main house, and we have built a cosy one-bedroom tiny home exclusively for our guests.There is a beautiful outdoor area surrounded by oak trees and traditional stone walls. We are completely off the grid, but you'll enjoy all the modern comforts, including high-speed internet with two Starlink systems, a swimming pool, and our guest cottage is fully equipped with kitchen washroom and laundry facilities

Originally from Croatia My husband moved to Canada at the age of 5 in 1970 and now that we are ready to retire we have chosen to come home to Croatia! Our Lives here has a different rhythm—one that's slower, simpler, we feel more connected here as a couple and our life long passion for animals has culminated in our very own cat sanctuary
Living just minutes from the Adriatic Sea, provides us with and being surrounded by nature has given us a peace we have been craving . We also have the the incredible pleasure of growing our own food ! The climate here allows for sp many amazing treats year round.
We would love to welcome you to spend your days making a meaningful difference for rescued animals and all that Croatia has to offer! -
Help
We are looking for like minded caring animal lovers to help us provide a safe and loving environment for our rescued cats.
Daily tasks include feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter boxes but most importantly it the socializing and playing with the cats that is most in need!
No previous rescue experience is required—just a genuine love for animals, -

Accommodation
During your stay, you'll have your own private one-bedroom tiny home located on our property. It is fully equipped with a comfortable bedroom, a full kitchen, a modern bathroom, laundry facilities, and high-speed Starlink internet, providing all the comforts of home while allowing you to immerse yourself in the tranquility of the Croatian countryside. You'll also have access to our swimming pool and plenty of outdoor spaces to relax, unwind, and take in the breathtaking surroundings.
Living just 10 minutes from Adriatic Sea, there is plentlty of amazing sights to see! Swimming, coastal trails, and cycling just to name a few! We hope you will love exploring Croatia and all it has to offer while giving a little love and support to our cats and kittens!
We will provide a stipend of 100 euros per week for food and the is a full kitchen in our tiny home where the quests will be staying where they can prepare their meals. -

We live 10 minutes from Vodice and the beautiful Adriatic sea, so swimming, hiking, biking and exploring all things the beautiful croatian culture has to offer
