Where do I start ? ;-) From the moment I set foot on the island to the moment I left it, I had a amazing time. Even when I tried a night version of the Corfu trail, it was quite an experience. It is difficult not to be amazed and enthousiated by their project. So basically, I spent 2 weeks helping Andy and Sarah (and Jamie and Maddy) with their

Nothing really complicated especially when you knew that an amazing meal prepared by a chef was waiting for you. :-p In the afternoon, you can do so many things during your free time. As I like hiking, I was pleased to admire the beautiful landscapes offered by the island. In the evening you can just chill in your personnal space or listen to the funny stories they have while admiring the fantastic view on the sea. I really enjoyed my time there, thank you all.Left by host for Workawayer (Pierre)
Pierre - also affectionately known as the "Waffle" [he is Belgian] - was an absolute delight to host! He is hard working and enthusiastic to everything he approaches to do, and does it very very well! He is so easy going it was like having an old friend to stay and he will eat pretty much anything!! Korbi and Lisa have just spent two weeks with us here and we highly recommend them to future hosts.
Although they hadn't any real skills to offer in the first instance they approached all their jobs with enthusiasm and worked very hard at anything we asked of them and showed a willingness to learn and help us out. We had explained that for the

They were very polite and left the studio where they stayed very clean and even stripped the bed for us.
A lovely couple very eager to learn!
We stayed with Andy and Sarah-Jane for two weeks in March 2025. From the beginning, they replied to our messages quickly and helped us out with any questions we had. As this was our first Workaway experience, we did not really know what to bring and what to prepare for, but they led us through the entire process. When our flight was canceled and
… read more we had to delay our arrival for two days, they accommodated these changes without problems.
We sweated a lot during our work (we are also not the fittest of people) but we never felt stressed or anything - Andy also made sure to give us different tasks that had varying degrees of physical activity so that we were never completely exhausted:)
Our tasks were landclearing (very satisfying), cutting and stacking firewood, moving parts for the hydroponic farm, some pruning and planting seeds.
They also accommodated our vegetarian diet and introduced us to various English foods - so there definitely is also a cultural exchange happening, even if it might not be with Greek culture. The meals were a solid breakfast (overnight oats or toast etc.), a big lunch and a smaller dinner (they don't really eat dinner but they didn't mind making us some).
They were very flexible with when we work (we worked longer some days to have the afternoons off on others) and in what order we did the tasks. When we said that we would like to have lunch earlier in the day, it was no problem at all.
The container we lived in had all of the necessary amenities. It does get a little small for two people over time but I guess that is just how tiny houses work - they are tiny.
They were happy to drop us off or pick us up from the next village before or after the extensive walks we took during our stay - it is a great area to explore but be ready to climb hills wherever you walk:)
The only bad thing is how much we will miss not having to make food for ourselves and being greeted by the dogs and the cat whenever we enter the main house xD
So thank you again, Andy and Sarah, for making our first Workaway experience so special and fun:)
Mia and Brodi stayed and worked with us the Autumn of 2024 ..... We can highly recommend both of them!
They fitted into our way of life straight away and were both very hard workers and willing to have a go.
We managed to complete our first olive harvest with them!
They both have great attitudes and lovely to just hang out and chat with as well as
… read more work.
They are responsible enough that once they know what you need doing they don't need supervision and just get on with it! We absolutely loved hosting them and would highly recommend them to any host!!!Feedback

Eve and Blake are nearly finished with their stay here and we know they are now applying for other positions - if they apply to join you and you have space then do yourself a favour and take them on!
From the moment we started talking they have been very easy to communicate with and on arrival fitted in to our ever changing lifestyle easily. They

The work we have currently been doing is quite physical [ trimming the trees and clearing the land, moving equipment] and they have both just got on with it and been a great help!
They are a credit to themselves and we wish them Happy travels and they can come back anytime........
If Stefanie applies to join any of your projects - accept her straight away! She was with us for 6 weeks and it flew past! Stefanie has a VERY good work ethic and loves to learn new skills, always has a positive attitude - she arrived and went to the beach with Andy to get sea water to make the salt, next day she was helping make the barn door for

The only negative comment we can make about Stefanie is she has left .....
She is more than welcome to come back anytime!!!!

Jemima and Max have been an absolute pleasure to host.
Jemima is an extremely good cook and we have been vegetarian the whole time they were here and not even noticed not having any meat as her meals are so tasty!
They are an extremely easy going couple and very easy to please and eager to try new things!
They have been a great help and the time

Would highly recommend them both and they will be missed!
Sebastian came to stay with us with his travelling partner and his dog Aris. We were a little nervous about this as we had not long before had a bad experience with another dog travelling with previous workaways who stayed, but Aris is such a soft gentle soul that once Balloo had checked him out they ended up playing together without any

Sebastian was an absolute delight to host - punctual, hard working and willing to try new things, whilst also providing ideas and options for projects/designs we were looking to start. Once Andy or James had explained what they needed doing Sebastian got right on it and did an excellent job!
At meal times he was a delight to chat to about his travels and heritage and easy going to hang out with.
If Sebastian asks to join your team or project accept without any reservations as he is a great asset and a lovely guy and we are happy to recommend him [and Aris!] !!!!
Hello family! Sorry for the late feedback!
My time at Sarah's and Andy's place was great! We were 2 people and a dog and originally planned for something like a 2-week stay but ended up doing about a month! We did some tree pruning as well as some work down at the stable with the horses. We also spent time making door frames for their lovely
… read more container home. This was much more interesting than it could initially sound because they were made out of some really big beams they had and each door frame was made to measure. It was comfortable to work because they had a well-equipped workshop and several power tools for woodworking which were essential for such a job. I learned how to use these machines and I feel like that will be a skill I will be able to use again elsewhere in the future. It was fun to have to be ingenious to figure out how to make all the parts fit or how to hold them in place while gluing or drilling needed to be done. I also built/made an amazing hanging lamp out of a typical old Greek wooden ladder and three gigant colanders which got hung up in their porch/outdoor living room space.
It was great to find a host that accepts pets and Aris (my dog) had good fun running around the olive grove with Baloo (their dog). Corfu is an extremely lush island with some crazy pristine beaches where you can go with your dog with no stress. Some of them are up there in my "best beach ranking", and I come from the Canary Islands! Corfu is an island that is rich with history and landmarks of the various civilizations that over time had control of the island. without a doubt, it is a unique island in many ways.
I wish you all the best and hope to see you all again in the future!
Best regards,
Sebastian

The lovely Mimi stayed with us recently for around a month in the end.... She was here with another Workaway as they were travelling together. Mimi was a breath of fresh air and with the work she [and Tian ] did gave us a little push as we had been losing enthusiasm to finish our house. Mimis work was exceptional as we called on her experience
… read more with wood to take old beams and make our door frames among other things- Mimis attention to detail was amazing and way beyond any other we have seen - she wanted everything to look right and we appreciated this very much and all the things she did look fantastic!
We liked both her work ethic and her character - easy going and easy to have around and always willing to chip in! Can Highly recommend her if she applies to your project!!!

Our month on Corfu with Andy & Sarah was our first Workaway and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From moment of arrival we felt at home.
The work was diverse, and we never felt bored: pruning olive trees, establishing the vege garden, helping Andy with his hydroponics farm. Both Andy and Sarah are really knowledgeable meaning we
… read more were able to learn a lot. They were also patient and had realistic expectations. We mostly worked weekday mornings, starting early to beat the heat. We also spent time helping their son, Jamie, and partner Madi with their Horse Rescue. This was very rewarding (and we got to make friends with their horses!). You will learn they are a very compassionate and dedicated family.
Outside of the work we were looked after really well. Andy is an amazing cook meaning we looked forward to every meal. We made great buddies with cat bandit and dogs balloo and ivy. We spent our spare time either exploring beautiful Corfu, or at the beach - walkable distance from the property. Or simply soaking up the serenity of their property.
This month will have a special place in our memory forever, Thank you Sarah and Andy!!You can only contact Workawayers who have an active membership.

If this lovely young couple apply to join your workaway program then accept straight away! Angus and Hannah are truly delightful to host. Before they came we had suggested various things they could help us with - this all changed as the workawayers booked before them didn't come but they just took it all in their stride and got on with the jobs we
… read more had to do [including cleaning the trees etc - which is HARD work in heat!] they also helped the Horse rescue Hay run which is VERY hard work in crazy heat and getting up at 5am! ......... they both have lovely personalities and both very polite and clean up after themselves and helped out at meal times. They are both keen to help and also learn..... cannot recommend highly enough! Wish they were staying longer than a month as to be honest found them such a great help and so easy to be around we are going to miss them!!

Pamela and Erwin very kindly sped up their travelling to get to us early to help out with a fundraiser we had arranged for our Horse Rescue!.....Erwin has been a great help and is eager to turn his hand to anything we asked. The Monro's are an absolute gem of a family and we couldn't have asked for a better first workaway experience. Within hours we felt like part of the family, enjoying all meals and unlimited laughs together. They are so kind, accommodating our vegetarian diet without complaint, teaching us how to garden in a hydroponic garden, and trusting us with

Keira and Payton will be sorely missed here! Straight away they just became a part of our family - both girls are very polite and easy to talk to. They are both energetic and eager to learn new skills, they managed to have a go with the power tools and keep their fingers! They cooked for us numerous times and it was fabulous food! They were
