  Description

  Ciao! We are Cinzia, Flavio, Lisa and Mattia from the ancient land of Etruria! ONe year ago we moved on the upland area between Orvieto and Bolsena, in a beautiful place rich with history. We are trying to improve the place we decided to be our home in respect of nature.
  We are used to share our living space with friends with joy and respect, and we’d wish to continue getting to know new responsible and motivated people.
  We don’t speak a great english but we can do it!
  
  Ciao! Siamo Cinzia, Flavio, Lisa e il piccolo Mattia, abitanti dell'antica Etruria! Da un anno ci siamo trasferiti nell'altopiano che separa Orvieto da Bolsena, in un luogo meraviglioso e ricco di storia e stiamo tentando di sistemare, nel rispetto della natura, il luogo in cui abbiamo deciso di vivere.
  Siamo abituati a condividere con gli amici gli spazi dove viviamo, in allegria e rispetto, e vorremo continuare a conoscere nuove persone responsabili e motivate.
  Non parliamo molto bene inglese ma ce la faremo!

  You can take part to the initial steps of our family’s vegetable garden and contribute with your knowledge. Depending on the season you can: participate to the olive picking and find out about the great work there is behind a drop of olive oil; fruit picking followed by the processing of the harvest (dry or make jam); harvest and selection of herbs we will use to make liquor. Good food...Flavio has been a pizza maker for ten years and keeps making a great pizza, and Cinzia’s passion is natural and vegetarian cooking. What else....we love music and good wine!
  
  Potrai partecipare alla creazione e alla cura del nostro orto famigliare e contribuire con i tuoi consigli. A seconda del periodo potrai partecipare alla raccolta delle olive e scoprire il grande lavoro nascosto in una goccia d'olio; raccogliere la frutta per poi essiccarla o trasformarla in marmellata; raccogliere e selezionare le erbe per fare liquori. Buon cibo...Flavio è stato un pizzaiolo per dieci anni e continua a sfornare pizze buonissime e Cinzia è appassionata di cucina vegetariana e naturale. Cos'altro...amiamo la musica e il buon vino!

  Help

  We need help with cutting grass and wood, taking care of the vegetable garden and green areas and in looking after our two children (we would love to give them the chance to be familiar with other languages and cultures!). We are also planning to fix some constructions around our house and build a henhouse.
  
  Abbiamo bisogno di un aiuto per tagliare l'erba e la legna, sistemare orto e giardino e nella gestione dei nostri due bambini (ci piacerebbe dare loro la possibilità di entrare presto in contatto con altre lingue e culture!). Abbiamo in progetto di sistemare alcuni annessi della casa e costruire un pollaio.

  Accommodation

  You can choose between being accommodated in our campervan or in a tent and be in touch with nature. We don’t have a guest room but you are welcome inside the house for every need, being responsible and independent is very important. We will be happy to share our vegetarian meals, everyday duties and care of the house.
  
  Potrai decidere di dormire in camper o in tenda, immerso nella natura. Non abbiamo una stanza in piu ma potrai usare la nostra casa per le tue necessità, in modo responsabile e indipendente. Saremo felici di condividere i nostri pasti vegetariani e il lavoro di cura della casa.

  What else ...

  We live in the countryside, 10 km fro km Orvieto, close to the Bolsena lake, Civita di Bagnoregio and the Via Francigena. This area’s beauty and serenity has its limits and unfortunately public transport is poor. However Flavio often leaves the house to go to work and will be happy to give you a ride to the train station in Orvieto. Should you have your own car there is plenty of great places to visit.. the Etruscan ways (Pitigliano, Sorano, Sovana with the beautiful vie cave); natural hot springs (San Casciano dei Bagni is close and Saturnia is 1,5 hours away); the lake of Bolsena and its beautiful villages and all the nature you want!! Rome is well connected via train and motorway and we will be happy to take care of the transfers to and from the train station.
  
  Viviamo in campagna a 10 km da Orvieto, vicini al lago di Bolsena, Civita di Bagnoregio e la via Francigena. La bellezza e la tranquillità di questa zona ha i suoi limiti e purtroppo ci sono pochi mezzi pubblici, ma Flavio esce spesso per lavoro e potrà accompagnarvi alla stazione ferroviaria di Orvieto. Se invece siete automuniti ci sono tantissime cose da vedere qua vicino...i camminamenti etruschi (Pitigliano, Sorano, Sovana con le meravigliose vie cave); terme naturali (San Casciano dei Bagni a un'ora d'auto e Saturnia a un'ora e mezza);il lago di Bolsena e i suoi incantevoli paesi e tanta natura!! Siamo ben collegati a Roma con i treni e l'autostrada e organizzeremo noi gli spostamenti dalla stazione di orvieto durante il vostro arrivo e partenza.
