Description
Hi, looking for help at our property owned by myself Lorraine and my husband Stephen both in 50's. We have 4 dogs and numerous pigs and piglets, 11 egg laying chickens and currently 1 bull cow. Our homestead is purely personal and not a business selling to the public.
We moved to Bulgaria to get away from fast paced life, and retire early and enjoy raising animals and enjoying the seasons! We are in a rural location in the village of Barzina 3359 in Bulgaria. Sofia the main capital with the airport is currently about 2-2.5hrs drive home. There is plenty of culture and also wildlife and peacefulness where we are. 3 of the dogs we have are like guard dogs and guard our property, the fourth is our house dog and pet. She is an anxious dog in a few ways but so loyal and love them all to bits. Our little fur babies! If you want to know more please feel free to ask any questions you like.

Cultural exchange and learning opportunities
Whilst we are at the house the individual can work with us and learn about pig, piglets and injecting them and mating. We can show you what's involved with our little homestead, and offer any guidance necessary in learning opportunities.
In the nearest towns there are plenty of shops and restaurants to experience the local culture and in Vratsa at Christmas time in Dec there are Xmas market stalls, music shows and ice skating rink, along with local cinema and plenty other shops and restaurants and banks, main train and bus station service to Sofia and other towns/cities.
Help
Primarily we would be looking for a responsible individual that can look after our house and land. The person would be responsible for feeding the pigs and piglets and cleaning them out daily. You would also be filling up their water containers and that of the dogs and chickens also. You would be feeding the dogs on a daily basis and getting rid of their poo. Also taking the dogs for walks on leashes every other day.
All feed for the animals would be available and ready to go, in order to feed everyone necessary. Chickens feeders are long term feeders so only need to be checked and topped up as and when necessary along with the water feeders. You would need to check electric fence is always on and no obstructions. General weeding and garden maintenance possible. We are not a business and our farm is raising animals for personal use and consumption.
Nice summerhouse provided to stay in with bathroom. Use of wifi and kitchen in main house. A very scenic area. Bus service only 100mtrs from house. Post office and village shop also 100mtrs approx. Down the road.

Accommodation
A clean newly decorated summerhouse with indoor bathroom with toilet, sink and walk in shower. Wifi provided in summerhouse from main house. Double bed with all bedding provided. While we are here cooked meals will be provided by us. You can make your own breakfast, lunch would be sandwich or the like, with cooked evening meal. However you can use the kitchen whenever needed to get food or drink when necessary, whilst not working. When we are not here you have use of the kitchen and food/drink available.

No smoking inside any of the buildings please.
Transport is available in the village as described earlier. Person is welcome to come out with us when we are home to go to shops and do chores. No other guests/visitors to be at house whilst we are not there. We are fair good honest people and are looking for someone to accept in to our life with the opportunity of further work in the future.

Internet is offered however usage would need to be discussed and controlled around relaxation time. We do have usage limitations on our wifi account.
Space for parking camper vans
If an individual is using their camper/motorhome, we do have space on our land available to park it. Tho you will still be able to stay in the summerhouse if necessary and bathroom facilities still provided a d electric can also be provided.
Can possibly accept pets
Don't mind having any pets visit however they need to be controlled and well behaved as they will not know our pets until such time as they have been introduced to each other. Also with our animals around they need to be controlled.
