    Description

    Hello!

We are Rachael (30) and Mitch (32).
We are located in the beautiful country village of nymboida, known for its white water canoeing on the nymboida river, on 240 acres of cleared land, bush and creeks. We are mostly self sufficient , with horses, beef and dairy cows, sheep, rabbits, chooks and ducks and four dogs as well as a big veggie garden!

Being hosts enables us to meet new like minded people who are travelling and want to experience rural Australia. We love to get to know you while working together on the land and share our knowledge on all things hobby farming on our beautiful slice of paradise.

any questions feel free to email me.
    thank you ! rachael

  • Help

    Help

We are after help with general duties on our farm which usually vary daily depending on seasons, tasks at hand or which cheeky animal has broken a fence and escaped. some of these jobs include help in our garden (bed prep, planting, harvesting), creek line weeding and bush Regen, weeding and tidying paddocks, horse and other animal care, horse experience would be a bonus as we always have young horses in training, and some domestic duties eg cleaning/cooking. no experience is required as we are happy to teach all that we know, though if you have particular skills and interests, we would love to hear about them and learn from you too!
We will not ask you to perform any tasks related to our farm business, though you are welcome to come along to markets with us and look around/explore the coast.

    What else ...

nymboida is half an hour from Grafton (nearest town) that has all major shops and services. It is an hour from the beautiful coastline with many national parks, fishing and bush walks if you wish to go for a day or camping trip on the weekends. one hour inland is also access to amazing national parks. Nymboida itself is a small village that holds fortnightly markets, occasional classes and events. we are right next door to the Nymboida canoe centre where you can hire kayaks and explore the beautiful Nymboida river. If you are interested in horses I also love to share my knowledge of natural horsemanship with guests.
